Thanks for sharing this post!  Fun with git and rails?  What could be more techy?
Been playing with gitlab a little bit the last day or so.  Thought I would write a little bit about it.  As a fairly complex, mulit-tiered opensource project, it is going to be a good source of learning in -the- my Rails world.  And utilitarian as well.  Might even get some of my less techy kids involved in source control of their homework projects. (Yeah, right!)

What cool things do you do with your .rvmrc file?  It is a shell script after all...

When you go to a project folder do you have git automatically pull from the latest stable branch, so that you are ready to get some work done?  Or do you display the log for the project?  Or do you just have a simple rvm use <version><gemset> that gets evoked?
