A few years back I had a breast reduction with Dr. Vu. I know many skilled male plastic surgeons, but I chose Dr. Vu because she is just as talented and female. I felt more comfortable going to woman. Although I did not have insurance at the time, I was willing to pay cash for procedure; because I have had back problems since I was in my early to mid 20's. Thankfully, now I have much less discomfort. She was kind, compassionate and professional. My results are excellent and my scars are virtually imperceptible. I would highly recommend Dr. Vu to anyone looking for a female plastic surgeon skilled in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery in the Portland, OR area.

I would like to start that I am truly impressed with the staff at The Vu Center, I also loved the fact that they didn't look like Barbies. *If you know what I mean* The team works hard to help us (the client) to get what's needed without selling us on things we don't really need, like other places I have been to. I felt valued my whole time INCLUDING AFTER surgery!!!! I worked Directly with a Lady named Kelly, she was honest and worked hard with my insurance and made sure I was happy at all times... How many times have you gone some where and you get that feeling the staff is JUST SAYING things because they think you need to hear it (lie) to make you happy or feel good words but you know they are dishonest. I'd rather hear the truth and honesty and that's this lady HONEST! Dr. Vu, WOW this lady knows her stuff and WOW again with her work! I am so happy with the whole experience that I wish I was part of there amazing team of lady's! I had a wonderful experience! I have to say it again WOW! Thank you to The Vu Center for really caring about your patients and keeping everything real! Carla Hanson CEO at Royal Hair Designs

You are in great hands with Dr. Vu and her staff! My experience has been exceptional and I would recommend the Vu Center to anyone. I sustained an open comminuted metacarpal fracture which required 3 pins and a splint to fix. Through it all, Dr. Vu has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She quickly set my mind at ease by explaining my options and outlining the procedure involved. She listened intently to my questions and took the time to thoroughly answer each one of them. She is knowledgeable, gentle, and approachable. She also referred me to Armworks Hand Therapy for my physical therapy which is located in the same building (literally next door). I have received the same exceptional service from them, as well!

Having never had any type of surgery before, I was very nervous. I have had back pain and large breasts for my frame my entire life despite exercise and being considerably 'in shape'. Dr Vu was very informative, helpful, and gave me all the information I needed to make a clear decision about having breast reduction surgery. I was impressed by all of the gushing praise the staff at the hospital had for her and her work before I went into the OR, which put me at ease. She stopped in before surgery to answer any further questions I had. The surgery went great and I love my new breasts. She had me come in on the weekend after to make sure all was healing well, and gave me her number to call with any issues. I had none, but she is always accessible which is wonderful. It has only been 3 months, and my scars are disappearing quickly. Thank you Dr VU!
