Well Friends we are entering that time of year where we start preparing and preventing for spring weeds in our lawns. The month of February is when we need to start applying pre-emergents to our turf. I know some people ask me "JP, what is a pre-emergent". Well I'm glad you asked! In simple terms, you are applying a herbicidal barrier over your lawn awaiting the sprouting of weeds that we don't like in our lawns. These weeds are usually broadleaf weeds but sometimes can be grassy weeds such as dallasgrass, crab grass, etc.

Pre-emergents don't kill the seed or weed until it sprouts and as soon as that happens the pre-emergent goes to work preventing further growth and stopping it in its tracks.

Let us partner with you this year in keeping your lawn weed free and looking beautiful! All annual committments get a free soil analysis- a $50 value!

Serving Grand Prairie, Arlington, Mansfield, Cedar Hill and Midloathian areas.
