After reading a story relating to the local manager and his treatment of staff I will never grace this location with my presence. If he treats the people he sees every day with total disregard, how does he treat visitors. Management represents the business so this business must not care.

Prior to staying here, review the Washington Post story about S. Tippen, "After a story if published, a minimum wage worker loses a job". Is this the kind of place you want to stay? I'd hope not!

I'll never stay there and will advise all of my friends and family to do the same. The Hotel Owner/Manager Herry Patel fired his minimum wage employee after she spoke to the Washington Post giving her opinion on how life is surviving on minimum wage. He had introduced the woman to the journalist and then after he introduced them he called the journalist and threatened to 'sue him' if he published a story and then he fired his employee (who he had introduced to the journalist) after speaking with the journalist for the story.

Very cold and callous behavior. The woman never said anything negative about the business. This is an infringement on the 1st Amendment. Herry Patel may not even be the owners last name as he seems to have changed it. Dubious, unscrupulous business owner. We all should boycott his business.

Herry Patel is a tight-fisted Scrooge.

Well, I know where NOT to stay next trip through Pine Bluff. Seriously, the way it's reported that the management has acted - firing a worker after talking to a reporter that the manager told the reporter to talk to, then threatening to sue and cussing if they dared right a story, all over a 25 cent raise? Fire this horrible manager and divide his wage among the employees. This is appalling, maybe he'll threaten to sue us now? This does NOT reflect well on Days Inn...

You need to hire Ms. Tippin back and apologize! You tell her to talk to a reporter and then fire her for doing it. Who does not think more money is a good thing? She answered honestly and for Pete's sake the minimum wage increase is a quarter an hour. Hardly a huge windfall. This manager, Herry Patel is an idiot!

Don't Stay Here. Manager Henry Patel runs a very intolerant place. By the way, just what is his immigration status??

An excellent place to stay in Laredo. It is conveniently located off I-35 and is close by to a large shopping mall (Mall de Norte) and numerous big box retailers. The hotel was recently renovated and it shows. Rooms are large and comfortable with flat screen TV's, refrigerator, microwave and separate sleeping areas. Bathrooms have plenty of room for toiletries and hot water is plentiful with lots of pressure. There are numerous outlets conveniently located to charge your devices. My room was very clean and serviced promptly each day. Wireless is free and of better than average speed. It is available in the room, lobby and dining areas. Two new all-in-ones along with a laser printer are located next to the lobby. No noise was heard from outside or nearby rooms. Breakfast each morning consisted of waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and several cold cereals. Coffee, milk and juices were available. The dining room and kitchen attendants kept the area clean and well supplied. They were also quick to respond to requests. The evening meal consisted of an entree (Meatloaf, Meatball Sandwich, Tacos on the days I stayed), side dish/vegetable/salad along with iced tea, lemonade, coffee and beer. Check in/out was quick and very efficient. An internet connection problem was quickly resolved with no follow-up necessary. Management and staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Easy access to parking lot. Friendly employees. The donuts in the bakery are the best, especially the mocha flavored.

Excellent service and a very good value. Very modern furniture and room layout. Very clean room and public spaces. Matt at the front desk was especially helpful in locating the most economical taxi service as well as storing some luggage for me while I was in meetings. Shuttle service is a bit difficult to contact from Metro Airport as it is listed as the 4 Points by Sheraton and not by the the SpringHill Suite. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying near the airport. Breakfast buffet is typical SpringHill Suites fare.

I travel to the Detroit area at least twice a year and the Canton area is a very convenient one for me to base my activities. I travel by plane and like to use shuttles and other public transportation as the Detroit airport (DTW) is one of the more expensive from which to rent a car. The Fairfield Inn has a very convenient shuttle that is still just $20 round trip compared to at least double for a taxi. Although located at an exit ramp for I-275, it is very quiet. The staff is very guest friendly and always ready to assist. I had an issue with a bad light bulb that was fixed in minutes with the hotel's general manager taking a direct interest to assure I was happy. Breakfast is included and is better than the usual standard fare with very good scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, waffles, bacon and sausage for the hot items and the usual selection of breads, cereal, sweet breads and yogurt for those that desire a bit less. The coffee is very good and is available at all hours. A big plus is the evening meal available weeknights. Arriving on Monday, they had some very tasty barbeque chicken, boiled potatoes, vegetable medley, salad and rolls. Tuesday featured breaded pork cutlets, mashed potatoes, a different vegetable combo plus the salad and rolls. ALL of this is included in the price of the room. Nothing is perfect so the ONLY negative about the Fairfield is that the bathroom are on the small side. Plenty of pressure and hot water. Although I didn't partake, they a package that includes room, parking and shuttle to the games in Ann Arbor. In over 25 years of heavy travel for an auto manufacturer throughout the USA, the Fairfield Inn is one of my all time favorites places to stay and a heck of a bargain to boot.

Excellent on time service at both Detroit Metro Airport pickup and return from Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti back to the airport. Newer vehicles were spacious and very clean. Complimentary water was available. Round trip fare was about 40% lower than a traditional taxi or Metro Airport taxi. Highly recommended if you going between Detroit Metro Airport and the Ann Arbor area.

I have known both the dealership and its owner, Ray Hernandez for many years. The service I have received has been excellent. The attention paid to me in both the sales and service departments was excellent as well as the results. I highly recommend this dealership for both its service and its new vehicle sales. It would be hard to find a better place to do business.
