Have you heard about the new Galaxy Note 8.0?
This might be the successor of our beloved 7.7 even if it's not even almost as beautiful as the one year old predecessor.
The Note 8.0 comes with a 8.0" screen and as its siblings, the Note 2 and Note 10.1, with a Wacom digitizer and suitable SPen. From the Note 2 it also inherited the innards, it's pretty much a big Note 2 (while the 7.7 was/is a big Galaxy S2), which means it also uses a quad core Exynos processor with 1.6GHz and 2GByte of RAM. The screen is - oddly enough - not AMOLED but TFT with the same (nowadays not very adequate) resolution of 1280x800 which it also shares with the other Notes. The Note 8.0 is as thin as the 7.7 (7.9mm) but slightly larger. While the 7.7 is at the very width limit for being held to the ear with only one hand for making a phone call, the 8.0 is even 14mm wider. It "only" comes with Android 4.1.2 by the way but I'm sure it will be updated very soon to 4.2. But that's it then, probably. We all now that.
The Note 8.0 is on show at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) right now and has just been unveiled yesterday.
