This Downtown outpost of the national chain is “always on the mark” thanks to “excellent” steaks you can cut “with a fork” and “wonderful” service in “calm, classy” surroundings; the bar can be a power scene, especially at happy hour, and tabs a bit “pricey”, but most agree it’s “worth the cost.”
West Texan was very satisfied. Very kind waiting staff. Steak was cooked perfectly and sizzling for a few minutes at the table. Brussel sprouts were carmelized perfectly with the bacon. Expensive but a must try for fine dining.
Amazing service. Server was very attentive and extremely nice. Food was fantastic, it was a friends birthday so they brought out dessert for the table. Wine list was extensive and had many great pairings for a good steak.
Anyone that rates this higher than a 3 has either stock in the company or this is your first steak house experience. The food and service are mediocre. That said, Ruth ' s Chris is consistent in that the experience is no better in Denver. Save your money or go somewhere else. Austin is full of good meat!
