Had an amazing lunch here. Oysters were perfectly shucked, and plenty of varieties to choose from. Lobster rolls were great, and the wine (as recommended by our server as an oyster pairing) was perfect. Come early, and come few. This is a poor choice for a large group. It's very small, they won't seat incomplete parties, and they won't allow groups of three, for example, to occupy a four-seat table. There's a line to get in every night, but based on our lunch experience, it's well worth the wait. A Boston must.

The best Lobster Roll in Boston I had, I'd recommend hot with butter. B&G Oysters only offers the cold with mayo, which I also had, but did not have nearly as much meat. Get here when it opens around 1130am for lunch, else you'll have to wait. The Clam chowder was also the best I had in Boston.

Freshest and Cheapest Oysters Theres always a line at Neptune Oyster. Get there early! They take down your name and number and will give you a call when there's a spot open. Their oysters are priced below $3. Not something that you will find at Island Creek or B&G. Get the Lobster Roll, hot with butter. It is just pure lobster, no fillers. Just delicious!

Fantastic experience. We heard about this place from our concierge and then again from a bartender in the city. This place is small and you need to leave your number with the host. They will call you back! You have to get the Johnny Cake.

Yummy. Best Oysters. Put your name on the list and go have some pasta somewhere else. Then come back and have oysters for dessert. We went twice in one week while visiting Boston from California. One time the wait was 2 hours so we grabbed some food near by and the other time walked right in and sat down.

For appetizer I really enjoyed the fried Ipswich clams. For the main entrée the Flash Seared Nantucket Yellowfin Tuna is delicious. I also had to try the North End Cioppino entrée which was just as good.
