REMINDER: The new schedule starts Sunday, Feb. 2nd. This Saturday's classes are still 7:30am Boot Camp, 8:30am CrossFit, and 9:30am Open Gym.

Curious about Boot Camp? Boot Camp is a group exercise class that mixes traditional body weight exercises with interval training and strength training. Boot Camp class is a longer duration WOD that will have you running, rowing, jumping, and strength training while burning tons of calories and having fun! Try it out!

CrossFit South Shore is going to be playing a really fun online health & wellness game called the Whole Life Challenge.  The WLC is a challenge to see how much of an impact you can have on your body, fitness, and lifestyle habits over 8 weeks.

We're really excited for it!  And we think you'd love it too.  And by the way -- by doing it together, we'd all get better results, stay motivated, and have much more fun!

Here’s what to do:
1) Go to https://www.wholelifechallenge.com/wlcnewyear2014/teams/3106/join
2) Create an account
3) Register for the Challenge
4) Join the CrossFit South Shore team

The game starts on January 11th, but you should register right away to get ready.  If you have any questions, let me know.

** We have several recipes on Pinterest, including a Whole Life Challenge board with WLC compliant recipes (www.pinterest.com/CFSouthShore/).  Check it often as we updated it periodically.  Have a favorite WLC compliant recipe?  Send it to us and we may feature it on Pinterest!

We have some exciting announcements to make for the New Year!

First, we have expanded our coaching team with fantastic new trainers.  We’ll share more info on them in the next few days.

Second, we are offering three new programs: CrossFit Kids, CrossFit Endurance, and Boot Camp.  CF Kids and CF Endurance will roll out in the next couple of months.  Boot Camp starts this Saturday at 7:30am.  Be ready to break a sweat!

Third, we have enhanced our scheduling to allow our athletes the best opportunities to improve fitness levels, build skills and techniques, and enhance mobility.  The new schedule goes into effect this Saturday and will be posted by the end of the week.

We’re looking forward to an amazing New Year!  See you in 2014!
