Green Business Is Good Business For Chipotle.... Besides serving burritos nationwide and at two locations in Bloomington-Normal, you may also know that Chipotle Mexican Grill has a very public commitment to sustainability. Chipotle is a 4-billion dollar a year, fast-casual restaurant chain. In 2014 restaurant to restaurant sales increased almost 17-percent and the company opened new 192 restaurants last year. Mike McCurdy talked with the company's CFO during Sound Ideas. -  http://wglt.org/wireready/news/2015/02/06817_02-26Chipotle_131600.shtml  #BWISU2015

Katy Winge wanted to play college basketball, but she also wanted to be a regular college student. That can be a difficult balance for Redbird student-athletes, who already have busy schedules between classes, practices, and games.

Each year the Illinois State University Alumni Association recognizes individuals who personify the University’s tradition as an environment for excellence.  Congratulations to Patti Hart '78, COB Alum who was recognized with the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award.

Through outstanding achievements and contributions, these individuals bring honor to Illinois State and the Alumni Association. Established in 1971 with one award, the program has grown to five award categories to better recognize the accomplishments of alumni at different stages of their careers.

The next time you drive past the Chipotle Mexican Grill on South Main Street near the southwest corner of campus you can boast a bit of trivia: The fast-casual chain’s financial chief is a former Redbird and this year’s keynote speaker for the College of Business' 2015 Business Week.
