screw this company for making this horrible horrible game.  i paid 5 bucks for the game and i'd pay 10 to have the memory of it removed from my life... except then i might buy it again....  damn you, irony!

one person draws on the wii u game pad and the other players guess at what they are drawing, multiple choice style.  but the wii u gamepad interface doesn't work half the time.  can't draw a damned thing... and when you are able to draw, there's no point in playing because the multiple choice is comprised of the item you are drawing plus 5 other items from that category.... one of which will inevitably also be the one you are drawing.  two of the same thing in the choices?  well that's the answer.  why draw at all?

also, this is 2015.  why is your game design done in microsoft paint?  did clippy design this?

Making these for Miles' German class.

Old German Honey Cookies

Recipe By:Darlene
"I got this recipe from my grandmother who got it from her grandmother. She had to translate it and then figure out measurements. The original recipe called for "enough flour to make a dough". Thankfully grandma knew what kind of dough."
Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup honey
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions
In a saucepan over low heat, melt together sugar, shortening and honey. Let cool.Mix together eggs, vanilla, baking soda and ginger. Gradually add to cooled honey mixture.Slowly add 4 cups of flour to mixture. Stir until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) until golden (about 12-15 minutes).

I went off script, though. I left out the ground ginger and, instead, substituted part of the sugar with Prince of Peace Honey Ginger Crystals. Also, i may have used some of project madagascar before it was actually read but.. shrug... "Release The Kraken!" That's what I say.

The end result is good. Not my thing. They taste strongly of honey, of course, which is not my favorite thing. If you like honey, though, you'd probably really like these.

This year's Christmas RiffTrax, Santa Claus and the Ice Cream Bunny, was excellent. The film was surreal. The shorts that preceded it were bizarre.

To top off the evening... Spicy Chicken from Sapporo Ichiban: The Gentleman's Noodle.

Glad to read that Star Wars: The Force Awakens passes the Bechdel test. Few movies do, and big budget blockbuster movies almost never do.

Either Marcia took this with Miles' camera or Miles was temporarily much much taller.

crawling with creeps. it's a popular destination for lonely weirdos to initiate impromptu encounters of a sexual nature. i gave it three stars instead of one, however, because it can be entertaining to go there, whip out a camera, and watch guys scramble.

I was shocked to see a one star review for this place. I have a hard time believing what I read in that review was actually true. It's so far from my experience at this restaurant. Sure, the hostess has looked down her nose at me once or twice. What do I care? She's a hostess at a restaurant. I'll start caring what she thinks of me when I'm a waiter. I've also had snobby looks from other customers, too. Honestly, you can't blame the Meadowlark because sometimes middle aged rich people like to come there and treat the waiters like crap... and they do. My experience with the waitstaff has been good. I'm a non-hippie, non-hipster, completely uncool breeder complete with deoderant and I don't recall ever feel like they were judging me. I think waiters usually care more about whether their customers respect the work they do than if they agree with their politics. I also disagree with the idea that they're selling an idea. They aren't in your face about the organic, local, and humane "jazz." I wasn't really aware that was what was going on in kitchen, at first. It never mattered. The staff is friendly enough, the music playing is never terrible, there's frequently new art on the walls. The menu is varied, changes regularly, the food is interesting (sometimes original) and flavorful. Still, if you are swayed by some of the sillier stuff in other reviews you should at least go to the Meadowlark so you can have a good meal while you entertain yourself by hating hippies for hating you.

It's one of the better locations for a local coffee chain that maintains a higher standard of quality than national chains. All the other reviews for this location are astroturfing ("they don't burn the beans like that other place".... that other place? why not just say "starbucks?" oh yeah... astroturf) so I figured it was fair to say that this place is good, but it's not mindblowingly excellent and you won't weep with joy when pondering your choice to go there. I suppose, it's also fair to say that you won't be sad you went, either.

The food is good. The service is good. The value at lunch time is amazing but even the dinner menu won't damage your pocketbook. There is no reason why this shouldn't be your favorite chinese restaurant in Dayton. It's our favorite restaurant, chinese or otherwise.

Don't trust google maps. The address was once right but the city is all wrong. Now the address is wrong too, since they've moved to an old building on Franklin just west of 48 in Centerville (probably 45459) which puts it miles away from the downtown Dayton address Google Maps is offering. The parking lot is accessed by an entrance to the west of the store next door and parking is behind the restaurant. The guy behind the counter will have tattoos and doesn't want to make nice with you. Don't be scared. He just wants to get paid for making pizza. And get paid he should. So good. Honestly, I have tears.

I don't want to pretend like the service is great or the restaurant is pretty to look at. There are brush bristles stuck in the paint from when they repainted. Jimmy's pretty surly at times and the waitresses sometimes don't have time to do much but take your order and chuck your finished food at you. Who cares, though? I think because it's in a suburban setting uptight white people expect to be sucked up to. I don't think Jimmy is overly concerned with ingratiating himself to anyone. He just wants to make good food as quickly as possible. Jimmy's staff doesn't need to treat you like a princess because the food is freakin' bananas! It's not cheap but neither is it out of line with what you're getting. If you have $10 bucks for lunch, are within 20 miles, and you don't get a sausage or meatball roll from Jimmy's you have wasted your money.
