This is turning the CDM mechanism on its head. Outrageously wrong.

by Michael A. Livermore. Environmentalists and public health advocates have a reason to stand up and cheer: Finalized rules to cut down on mercury air pollution are set to be announced today by the EPA. But economists can also feel good about this holiday-season gift of clean air: Two decades of agency analysis have found the EPA’s new mercury standards for power plants to be overwhelmingly cost-benefit justified. With annual compliance costs aro...

Two days ago, Roger Federer and Andy Roddick met once again in the quarterfinals of the Basel Swiss Indoors Tournament—ten years after their first career meeting. Highlights of that match—and Fed's how-the-heck-did-he-do-that shots at a time when he was still rounding out his game—are in the link below.

Though the H2H currently stands at a lopsided 21-2 in Fed's favor, he has always held RAndy in respect (who wouldn't with that serve?) and fond camaraderie. Ten years hence, these two are now among the fogeys on the tour. And they're still at it with that yellow fuzzy ball.

It will be a sad day when they walk off into the sunset—particularly for this Federer fan. Until then, enjoy their game.
