Years ago we had a booth exhibition at the convention center and I asked about local restaurants. Ralph's was highly recommended so we ate there the first night, the second night, the third night and the fourth. My colleague and I had the veal rollatini all four was that good. Try to get it from another Italian restaurant! I've taken my entire family there for the same dish several times when I lived in was worth the trip. Only problem was at the time they were cash only and the first night was embarrassing. I understand they accept credit cards now.

Amazing food! Wonderful resturant with so much history. Make sure you call ahead for reservations, a resturant this good fills up fast.

Finally came here after being in the area 1.5 years; great old school menu and tasty meals off the trattoria menu. Good prices, good desserts too. Also - credit cards ok!

Friendly staff at tables The staff was very efficient at all phases from the chef to al other faces of production The prices were more than fair!!! The quality ingredients reflect in the taste, You can also taste the passion of the chef! Awesome dessert choices They found me a seat for me and my date we were finishing some shopping and wearing casual clothing I has a blast.

Such a disappointment. BF and I visiting Philly on a whim and heard all the rave about this place. Totally disappointed!! I had veal parm (over cooked and dry) and he had gnocchi (no flavor at all) and some other pasta dish that was totally forgettable. The service was also not great. We went during lunch and the place was empty....I should have known. Don't feel bad if you haven't eaten here, believe me, you're not missing anything! I've had better veal parm at Olive Garden!!

Sorry to say that Ralph’s quality has been steadily dropping over the years and it’s now living off of its past reputation and proximity to the “Ninth Street Italian Market”. Now it is more like a tourist place with tables tight and uncomfortably close to each other. The “Everything Salad” is still very good but my last meal there, a veal parmesan, was overcooked and dry.

Very impressed with the service and food at this old time place. Great pasta, sauces, salad and clams. Large wine list centered on Italy but with choices from all over. Can't wait to go back .
