Thats cool because I assume the BBC is a bunch of prats who couldnt manage a fuck up in a brothel. Meanwhile back in the real world how about we drop all this geolocation restriction bullshit that clueless legal teams with nothing better to do than sip their 10am G&Ts think is the best solution to their world view restrictions.
An anonymous reader sends this news from TorrentFreak: After cutting its teeth as a domestic broadcaster, the BBC is spreading its products all around the globe. Shows like Top Gear have done extremely well overseas and the trend of exploiting other shows in multiple territories is set to continue. ...

it takes a Sysadmin to see how processes of infrastructure work together and one who is a established author in the realm of science fiction will have the syntactic apparatus to piece together the dialogue in such a way as to leave you wondering why you didnt see the that it really was a Rabbit and not a Duck all along.

James Losey from New America Foundation sez, The Atlantic's Alexis Madrigal, who has estimated how long it would take to read every privacy policy you encounter highlights an interesting bit from the "Linking Policy" in the Terms of Use for the London 2012 website: "a. you canot open source govt. it is a ridiculous use of the term open source and it denigrates the value of open source software by suggesting that it simply means you can see the source code. and by virtue of using it in the term Government it means you can see how Government works ? Well no. You see Laws are already open source but the point about open source is that it allows you to take the source and use it your self and it comes with a license as to how you can use it. Are we then saying that if we open source government we can take a copy fo the government and change the laws, compile it for our needs then set up our own governments ? no I didnt think so.

Files gathered from a system built to handle the problems of interruption to communications and loss of information are very likely stored on more than one hard drive ; so what was this circus operation about. Why make such a show of farce ( yes im calling it that ) when it would serve no value. The only sinister comment in all of this was "youve had your debate , now move along" Did Britain just become controlled by the Ministry of State Security ?
The editor of the Guardian says British government officials destroyed hard drives to try to stop stories about Ed Snowden's documents.
