One of my favourite blogs to read is http://www.elefantz.com/

Jenny never fails to inspire me with her lovely writing about her everyday life and faith as well as her beautiful designs.

One of these days I'll get around to making one when I can find a shop that sells that "hanky linen" alternative fabric!

I love the crochet patterns on http://www.mypicot.com/ some of them are so unusual. Just ignore the annoying ad that pops up asking you to buy into the patterns and scroll down to see the patterns with photos and instructions.

You can just follow the instructions online. Not sure which one to try first. The crochet flower shell would make a lovely blanket! You could use your spare balls of wool and have a really crazy one.

Great photos. Love the cobwebs. Finding it difficult to comment on your photos. Maybe because I don't have Instagram

That looks brilliant. The first one was in Durham in 2009 & it happens every other year now. I'm never around when they do them sadly, always on holiday then. Maybe 2017!

These buildings are gorgeous. Such a shame they're not open to the public.

Yes it is a risk buying online as the quality & colours aren't apparent.

It would be great if they sent you a colour swatch when you buy wool online. That way I'm sure they would sell more!
