I hope everyone had a great weekend. I have reached the halfway point in my NaNoWriMo novel. I'm very excited about that! Breakfast was 1 small mango, 1/2 cup pineapple, 1 orange, 3 cups curly kale and 8 ounces of filtered water. This is a smoothie fail that was saved by a scoop of vanilla lucuma protein powder from Sprout Living. I think it was the ginger and kale. It was 1 mango, 2 large carrots, 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, 3 cups baby kale, 8 ounces filtered water and 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder. It has around 369 calories with 17 grams of protein, 76 grams of fiber, 31% DV of calcium and 2.6 mg of iron. What's in your blender. I would recommend a mild green like spinach, butterhead or escarole lettuce.

This was a little experiment. I was eating a cantaloupe and I noticed the almond butter in the cupboard and wondered what a cantaloupe/almond butter smoothie would taste like. I used 1 small banana, 1 cup cantaloupe, 12 frozen strawberries, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 3 cups spinach and 8 ounces of water. I was really good. It only has around 283 calories with 9 grams of protein, 17% DV of calcium and 4.3mg of iron. What's in your blender?

Good morning! Another tasty kale smoothie for breakfast. It's 1 small banana, 1 cup pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 3 cups curly kale, 1 small carrot, 1 tablespoon cacao, 1 persimmon and about 10 ounces of filtered water. It was so tasty! It has around 379 calories with 11 grams of protein, 15.2 grams of fiber, 34% DV of calcium and 5.8 mg of iron. What's in your blender?

I wanted to try something new today, so I mixed pineapple and sweet potato. It was very tasty! This smoothie is 1 cup pineapple, 1 cup raw sweet potato, 1 small banana, 1 large carrot, 2 cups dandelion greens and 9 ounces of filtered water. Happy Saturday everyone! Today's smoothie was 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 pouch Amafruits brand frozen acai puree, 1 banana, 3 cups spinach and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. I was very tasty and full of antioxidants! It only has 268 calories with 6 grams of protein, 15.1 grams of fiber, 18% DV of calcium and 3.7mg of iron. What's in your blender?

Good morning! I wanted to have a pumpkin smoothie, since it's getting so close to Halloween. I used fresh cooked and cooled pumpkin, if you are going to use canned pumpkin puree, you can use 1 cup instead of 2. It's 1 ounce fresh carrot juice, 2 cups fresh cooked and cooled pumpkin, 1 mango, 3 cups spinach, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 8 ounce filtered water. It has around 343 calories with 9.4 grams of protein, 13.2 grams of fiber, 21% DV of calcium and 6 mg of iron.
