Android Wear 2.0 completely destroyed the usability of notifications for me. I loved the way the older version would display the peak cards across the bottom at all times, so I could just glance at my watch and see if something had come in that I didn't notice. I don't always feel the vibration, so it was nice to have it always on the screen in case I missed it.

But now, the only two options are to have notifications display FULL SCREEN constantly until dismissed, or to have them display for a few seconds, then go away. How is this acceptable to anyone??

Seriously, my watch just got a hundred times less useful. I got it to stop missing notifications, so if I'm just going to start missing them again, why bother wearing a watch at all?

Does anyone else feel this way?

Can anyone recommend a watch face that maybe shows a notification badge for unread messages, etc? That might be better than nothing. :-(
