TONIGHT's Poetry Industrial Complex lineup:

Tracy Thomas 5pm
Jeff Falk 5:30
Shawnte Orion 6
Rosemarie Dombrowski 6:30
Jack Evans 7pm
Patrick Hare 7:30pm
Ernesto Moncada 8pm
Bill Campana 8:30- 9pm

Obliq Gallery is in the Arizona Center (4th Street and Van Buren)
It's right in front of the big water fountain and movie theater area, so it's pretty easy to find once you're there. I think the Gallery can validate parking for the AZ Center garage and the event is free.

Kirk Nesset is author of two books of fiction, Paradise Road (University of Pittsburgh Press) and Mr. Agreeable (Mammoth Books), a book of poems, Saint X (Stephen F. Austin State University Press), and a nonfiction study, The Stories of Raymond Carver (Ohio University Press). He has also authored two books of translations, Alphabet of the World (University of Oklahoma Press) and Disappearances (Calypso Editions, forthcoming). He is recipient of the Drue Heinz Prize in Literature, a Pushcart Prize and the Perry Poetry Prize, and has received grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. His stories, poems, translations and essays have appeared in The Paris Review, The Southern Review, Kenyon Review, Gettysburg Review, American Poetry Review, Iowa Review, Ploughshares, Agni, Witness, Crazyhorse, Prairie Schooner, The Sun and elsewhere, including four of Norton’s anthologies: Flash Fiction Forward, New Sudden Fiction, Sudden Fiction Latino and Flash Fiction International. He teaches at Allegheny College, and is writer in residence at Black Forest Writing Seminars (Freiburg, Germany). For more info, visit http://kirknesset.com/.

(Kirk Nesset will have some books available to sign and sell)

Rosemarie Dombrowski has a PhD in American literature and worships at the temple of Walt Whitman, which really just means she's a modern-day Transcendentalist.

Her devotion to Italian shoes and American cars runs deep but doesn't detract from her love of teaching.

Currently, she's searching for someone to publish her poetry. In the meantime, she's making a documentary film, publishing the 8th issue of the student literary journal on campus, and working as an editor for Four Chambers literary magazine.

Hosted by Bill Campana, Jack Evans, and Shawnte Orion

Bad Laundry Days, Cerealism and Four Chambers debut issue
I almost didn't go to the Four Chambers launch party last night at the FilmBar , because "free form socializing" is almost like Kryptonite to me. Seriously, that's one of the reasons I became I writer in the first place -because I wasn't hanging out in bars...
