A grand dining room which is seemingly from a different era. The menu is solid and is obviously not shooting for innovative. Our first plates were very good - a delicious crab cake and a surprisingly good French onion soup. Our second plates - the scrod and salmon were good but were not spectacular. Because it invented it, we had the Boston cream pie to share, which was lovely. All in all, I thought the food was perhaps not quite up to the room

if your looking for elegance or just a good place to eat, you can't go wrong here. the service is marvelous, the wait staff can answer all your questions on any dish they have. the best dish i ever had at the parker house was the beef marrow as an appetizer and the duck for my entree.

the food and service were wonderful. we normally don't go to hotel dining rooms, but we had to have the parker rolls. our server was great and it was a nice environment to sit and visit for a couple hours without feeling we were holding anyone up.
