Airavata Elephant Foundation has launched a campaign to rehabilitate Bak Maï the elephant. The poor animal went berserk 2 months ago and killed his mahout...

Since he has been safely transferred to our sanctuary near Banlung in the remotest province of Cambodia, Ratanakiri.

He's made huge progress and is surprisingly not the mad animal we were expecting !

A few months ago Bak Maï the elephant became berserk and almost got killed for his ivory. The Airavata Elephant Foundation is launching a campaign to rehabilitate him.

He has been safely transferred to our sanctuary near Banlung in the remotest province of Cambodia, Ratanakiri.
He's currently recovering and socialising with Ikeo, Bokva and Kamsen (the last 3 elephants born in captivity and still living in Ratanakiri)
