Bernie in the Media  -

Give it to Ed making sure Bernie's first interview is about his policies and not a bunch of bull. He also foreshadowed Bernie not getting the TV coverage he should. I think MSNBC made a stupid call by axing him.

+Chris Sullins "Too Liberal"?  Ed was pure centrist, same with Alex same with Rev Al.

In fact MSNBC as a whole is about a 70 on a scale from 0 to 100 with 50 being dead centrist and 100 being far Reich.
They are about 20 clicks to the right of center.

There are no "liberal" mainstream news broadcast in this country, ZERO.

Democracynow is dead centrist but not on a mainstream stations.
Thom Hartmann on RT is about a 48 on that scale.

Fox so called news is clearly pegged on 100 and trying to create 101.

Framing the Issues  -

I'm re-sharing this with the group so we can pass it along without the trolls in the original post who think women don't need/deserve equal pay.

My mother has been working for around 40 years and I have a friend who's a single mother of two that doesn't get help from child support. Both are single (white) women that are living paycheck-to-paycheck in 2015. No matter how hard they work, how long they've been working, or what their race is, equal pay is an issue and I'll fight for it by voting for Bernie.

In A Fiery Speech, Bernie Sanders Calls On Men To Join With Women To Fight For Equal Pay

In the first stop of his campaign swing through South Carolina, Sen. Bernie Sanders called out the disgrace of women earning less money than men, and called on men to join with women to fight for equal pay.

I just heard this on the news. I need to hear Bernie snap on the federal reserve for wanting to raise interest rates.

Here's another video with some very smart people. I knew Henry backed Bernie, but it's a nice surprise that "The Body" does too. I love it when people educate themselves and make decisions based on facts, not listen to or buy into the stuff the big media is shoveling the public.

He can talk down the rep's talking head on Fox News, so I have no doubt Bernie can hold his own on anything they try to throw at him.
Bill O’Reilly, Fox News’ king of hate and misinformation, employs certain tactics against his guests. He talks over them, twists their words, and hijacks the conversation. That doesn’t work on Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). O’Reilly attempted to launch his petty assault against Sanders to no avail. Sanders corrects O’Reilly, giving the host...

This is exactly what Bernie is fighting against. Walker has been in their pockets his entire political career and we need to make sure if ends up their candidate that he doesn't get in the White House.

I can only hope that one of the Koch brothers will read this post .
Hold on to your wallets boys , the American people are starting a Revolution, we the people
Are waking up and we are going to take our country back .the days of your mongering your political puppets are soon coming to an end .
The days of the American people thinking there's nothing we can do has come to an end, money that you have doesn't work against the millions of people who are not going to stand for the political corruption that you have bought and pqid for , whatever candidate that you support financially won't have the peoples endorsement.
The only candidate willing to talk about these
Warts is Bernie Sanders and though the Koch brothers own the media , the millions of people
Who are flocking to Bernie are not going to let our highest office be bought with your dirty money.
The people are aware , and now we are going to
Put the Koch brothers out of White House
Senate and Congress , watching you feel the
Bern. It's getting hot ! 2016 Bernie Sanders

Running a clean campaign and sticking to his morals. Are we sure this man is a politician from this century? His ideals are of a political world long forgotten.
Hillary Clinton’s top rival for the Democratic nomination refuses to attack her directly.

General Discussion  -

This is from the '08 election, but here's a great "definition" of what a Progressive is to explain to others what we're for. Almost all the things listed are something Bernie has been shouting about his entire political career. The line that speaks most true about this election is: "You believe that voting every few years is a weak form of political participation, and that achieving social justice requires concerted effort before, during, and after elections." Which means we don't stop fighting and we back Bernie before, during and after he's elected. And we get the corporate politicians out of office and get politicians in that put needs of the American people before their bank accounts.
In the propaganda wars that surround elections, political labels often become detached from reality. The leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination, Barack Obama, has been called a "leftist" by Republican flacks and a "progressive" by some of his supporters. Others see Obama as a moderate Democrat only slightly less friendly to corporate capital and to the military-industrial complex than the Republican John McCain. It would be ...

Hmm, another smart, progressive, for-the-people change coming from Vermont first. Let's hope that it doesn't take add long to be national law like same sex marriages. Wait, why does that state sound familiar? Isn't there a guy running for president from that state that has pushed for these sorry of things his entire career?

I apologize if this was previously posted in the community as I'm new, but this is a great video about Bernie that needs to be passed on. A impartial video that states the facts, which are just 10 of the the reasons why we in this community are backing Bernie to be our 45th president.

Please share to those who you think are ready to #FeelTheBern I'm sure it'll help light their fire.

So since the spotlights are on the political circus, and sadly this is just the beginning, here's a playlist of how those of us who are sick of the corruption see you people who blow smoke up our arses for a living. If this play list strikes a chord, look up Bernie Sanders and see what a politician who fights for the people looks like.
