Service has gone down over the years, I try to avoid at all costs. There are better places for drinks, and the food isn't all that great. It's got a great ambiance for patio seating on a nice night, but prices are steep for mediocre service, food and drinks.

I stopped by for happy hour. Who can beat $3 sangrias and $5 taco plates?!! The ambiance is laid back but hip. My bartender was prepping the mint for the evening. Music was pulsating with a Spanish vibe. A great place in the midst of the Santa Ana art district. Fun for a date or just drinks with friends. Happy hour is 3-6:30 pm Mon-Fri and they also have $5 taco plates after 10pm Mon-Fri. The sangria hit the spot with its ice-cold fruity notes. The carne asada tacos are fun with cliantro, onions, salsa served on-the-side. Slightly on the chewy side, but for $5, not bad. Up next, the duck fries were covered in cheese, green tomatillo sauce and yummy goodness. We also ordered the banana bread pudding which is fried in a skillet. It's topped off with whipped cream and blueberries. Each bite was like a little taste of heaven. The mojitos are every bit as refreshing as you can imagine. Definitely a great place to hang out with some friends. Worth a trip for happy hour.

I recommend Lola's to everyone. Great staff! They remember us and our orders. And I love their bacon wrapped dates!

I don't really understand the flatbread thing... Don't order the pizzas; other menu items are outstanding. Tacos are excellent, the burger is quite good.

One of My favorite restaurants in OC. I haven't been in awhile but will try to make trip here at least a couple crimes a year as their menu changes seasonally. Bacon wrapped dates, beef cheek raviolli, duck confit fries, are some memorable dishes.

Lola Gaspar is either hit or miss for me. Ambience is great. Love the lighting! Makes its feel moody and intimate. Service is okay. I don't come here for the outstanding service that's for sure. Now most importantly food and drink! Food is typically at least good. But I feel that Lola suffers from an Apple/Mac like issue in thinking everything they churn out is awesome simply because it's from Lolas. In my experience things at Lola's, food that is on the mark is just simply to die for. I don't mind paying 12 for 3 tacos its just that good. However I feel that some of there items don't hit the mark and are severely disappointing. Making them mediocre at best. All in all food is always worth a try. Especially when the menu is changed up!
