This is a great exercise to hit the lats using your own bpdy weight. You don't need equipment like a pull down machine. Plus it works the same muscles as a pull up - one of the most effective upper body exercises - it's perfect for those who aren't able to do pull ups. It's easier on the shoulders than both pull ups or pull downs and it helps improve posture. I'm a huge fan of this exercise for these reasons. Here Andrew demonstrates a wonderful stretch for your hip and the gluteus medius. These muscles tend to get tight from extended periods of sitting or from various types of physical activity. They typically don't get stretched very well or directly from many other stretches.

In this video Andrew demonstrates an awesome dynamic stretch that improves balance, stretch, and flexibility. It's a great stretch for the hamstrings and gluttes while it strengthens many of your core muscles. This move is known as Warrior 3 in Yoga practice.

This movement is perfect for those who want to work toward doing regular push ups but aren't able to do them quite yet. Push ups are a staple upper body exercise that also work your core.
