RIP Penny🌷 complications from diabetes took her at 75...many many tributes from Hollywood are pouring out and coming in
became a fantastic director in her own right too many great films too.
direction though I think must have came from two sources won her great brother Garry Marshall who made so many awesome TV shows and films and her ex-husband Rob Reiner who she was married to from 1971 to 1981 after becoming Meathead wanting to step away from All in the Family in the late seventies to hopefully pursue his directing career himself
chronic heavy smoker for years and years battled cancer but two big tolls on her life was the death of her brother producer Gary and the loss of her friend Carrie Fisher last year. 🌷 I think Cindi Grecco had a great voice probably could have went further other than this song known as the theme song back in the 70s but her career never went anywhere..
only thing missing here cuz it's the full song just like happy days and many more TV themes is
🎢1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 schlemiel schlamazl hasenpfeffer IncorporatedπŸŽΆπŸ»πŸ˜‚
here you even get the great sax 🎷solo that was on this thing never heard in the opening or closing credits but there it is
now the real question who's going to have a nice Milk and Pepsi in her honor?? πŸ˜‚πŸ€”πŸ˜‹πŸΆπŸ₯›

only 12 years of labor in the mines not just a coal but the silica dust too.. worst part is there isn't that much regulation everything is business as usual for big business.

Rick Danko perfectly written for him to sing.
love the late Richard Manuel towards the end blending in along with them and some great background vocals
written by Robbie Robertson what's interesting he's of Jewish and native American Faith intertwined.. Still surprising is he never wrote a song about Hanukkah it's another one of those cases where so many great people of the Jewish faith write amazing Christmas songs.. this one about view from one of the shepherds watching as it transpired
this of course about the Orthodox Christian miracle of Christ's birth.
Hall & Oates had a nice cover of this in a few others had to but this is the original from the islands album 1978 recorded in 1975 why radio continues to ignore this I will never understand it's beautiful absolutely gorgeous Melody Rick Danko sings it's so wonderful yet radio very very seldom plays it. SMH

absolutely smoking killer cut right here.😎 πŸ€“what's really cool about this is one it was written by a great drummerπŸ₯ πŸ€”Joe Vitale who also lays down the Jethro Tull like flute on this song..πŸ‘ and if you listen very carefully I'm not a hundred percent sure I don't have time to fact-check but it sounds like Kenny Passarelli old long time friend former member of the James Gang another one that Joe hangs around with still to this day..I think he is playing a fretless bass 🎸new with the time to the music scene just recently introduced I think? me not being a bass player I don't know but bass players feel free to chime in if your garden members.. is that a fretless bass that I hear Kenny P playing here the way it kind of drones and sorta warbles in and out? I might be wrongπŸ™ƒ To me Bill Symczek is such a great producer this was the album The Eagles herd and decided after helping out Joe on the next album so what decided they were going to leave Glynn Johns and making albums in England πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§and come back home and make music and that's when they began with the On the Border sessions and reeled in a new producer and it was Bill for years..but this is one of those real cool hidden finds you get on Joe Walsh album sometimes they're not 100% on fire the confessor comes to mind but there are some of those great tracks to just kind of grabbed you and make it still worth wanting to keep it in your music collections.
πŸ€“ my opinion only

the classic rock and Silent Night turn it into a "loud night" taking it to churchπŸŽΆπŸ’’πŸ’ƒπŸ•ΊπŸ’’ with Elvin Bishop band in 1975. and just before he would go onto co/front the Jefferson Starship in 79, Mickey Thomas was one of the original Elvin Bishop members for four years I always love this one so cool elven laying down some great blues guitar taking a somber song into an upbeat one that's going to put in your own stamp on something.. so one of my favorite Christmas songs sometimes you catch this in a Home Depot playing on the sound system
