Creamy cheese fondues, savory entrees, and decadent chocolate fondues set in a beautiful atmosphere. Voted the most romantic restaurant in the Detroit area!

I have to say I've never had dinner but always stop by for dessert and coffee with the family. They have this great assortment dessert platter with three different chocolates to dip. I'm told dinner is very expensive but fun to enjoy in a group setting.

****Update 2/3/2014 Never received the promised giftcard. ***Update 1/2/2014. I called today to speak with the manager regarding my experience below. Spoke with Dennis for about 20 minutes. He listened to all my concerns and complaints. He apologized on behalf of his staff. He offered to send me a $50 giftcard and asked us to come back in order to receive the experience we should have. I appreciate that he listened and offered the giftcard. We'll give it another try. 1/1 I have never had an issue at this location, but my New Year's Eve experience here was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. It was recommended that reservations be made, so I made them for 9pm, party of 4. We arrived at 8:45 and right off the bat got attitude from the staff and was told they were running behind. In a crowded place full of people waiting to be seated, we waited until almost 1030 to get seated. As of 11:15pm, we still didn't have drinks or any food. We ended up just leaving, hungry and very frustrated on NYE. All other restaurants were already packed or closed at this point. We are very dissatisfied with management for not caring about their customers, especially on such an important night for most. If they can't fulfill their reservations, they shouldn't schedule them.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic starting from the moment I made a reservation. I called as they opened on that day to make reservations and they guided me through the different things I could do for a special dinner date. They also asked for my name as well as my girl friend's name and they called us by our names the entire night making the experience very personable. When we came to the restaurant, they guided us to a private section that seemed to be reserved for dates. It was extremely elegant and made the entire atmosphere more enjoyable. The food itself was really good. Since I had never been here, it was confusing at first but the waiters did a good job of explaining it to me. While eating, multiple waiters made stops to see how we were doing but not too often so as to disturb our dinner. The manager came back and wished my girlfriend a happy birthday. Everyone was very polite and dedicated to making our night enjoyable. All in all, it was an exceptionally wonderful experience.

I didn't even get to the restaurant so this isn't a remark on food quality but they left me on hold to make a reservation for 20 minutes. I won't be going to the ann arbor location anytime soon.

Yes the food is expensive but I believe you get what you pay for :) My husband made reservations ahead of time for my birthday and when we got there they had a romantic private booth reserved for us. The greeter made a big deal about my special day and when we got to they table they had a birthday card signed from the staff waiting for me. The food was amazing; yes you cook it yourself but the shrimp was phenomenal. Our waiter Stephen was awesome; he made an excellent recommendation regarding my drink and helped pick out the perfect sauces for our food. Hands down the best experience food and wait-staff wise that I have had at a restaurant on my birthday.

The food here is really good, however not that good to break the bank. Be prepared to spend your pennies.

If you are looking for something different, try the Melting Pot. We've been to this one half a dozen times, and it's always great. Yes, it's expensive. Some restaurants are. Look at the menus online before going somewhere, but don't complain that it's too much money --- there are allowed to be pricey places out there. The Melting Pot is a long evening, and quite fun! Plan on 2 hours for everything, enjoy all the fondue :)
