Great view, friendly staff. The lobster roll was disappointing( possibly overlooked, not tender) but the gumbo was great. Vegetable sides were good, cooked right and flavorful but the brocillini was over salted. Would probably come back again.

Great sunsets & live music. Lobster roll is, of course, excellent. Other dishes I've tried are good, not great. Service ranges from excellent to so-so. Men's room in the front is often a mess. Look for the family bathroom in back instead. Prices are a bit steep for the quality: I think you pay extra for the views.

Great food. I recommend the Lobster Roll. That is the staple. I was there on a Friday night so it was totally packed. The service was probably slower than usual because of the volume. The view is great and they even had live music. Price reflects the atmosphere, but food quality is excellent.

I don't share the overall sentiment. The service was decent and beach side view is unbeatable. However the food is poor to mediocre, especially given the prices. The lobster roll was dry and unseasoned, the blue crab sopping wet and the bun drenched with sauce, making it impossible to eat without falling apart. My kid described his pasta as having no flavor. This is basically a tourist trap.

This is one of the couple places I recommend to everyone that is visiting the HMB area. Great chowder that isn't too heavy (which is awesome) and a nice selection of seafood that isn't chowder. Besides the chowder, try the asparagus. Pro tip: get a side of bacon for the chowder. Kicks it up a notch for sure!

Fun restaurant, delicious food, and a nice view. It's a bit out of the way, but if you're in the Half Moon Bay area this is a great place to eat.
