Wee bit of shameless self-promotion -- did a really fun interview on Mixergy a few weeks ago and it's live now :)  http://mixergy.com/noah-lehmann-haupt-gotham-interview/

In 1900, something like half of all American adults were employed in agriculture. When gasoline-powered tractors made it possible for most Americans to get non-agricultural jobs, it didn't spell joblessness forever. Large employers started in the 20th century (e.g. Walmart) now employ massive swaths of the population. Innovation leads to creative destruction, and the article isn't correct in prediction of a long-term failure to create jobs. They're just moving from Point A to Point B, as they always will.

Starting to get a hang of Google+ now -- and it makes a LOT of sense. It's Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter all mixed up in one, elegantly sliced and diced. You can follow people without the double-confirm (Twitter), post public things to the world on a soapbox (Twitter + Tumblr), or keep things between friends---er, circles.

Now the big question is - who's going to make that first iOS app that ties this all together beautifully and elegantly?

My favorite bike shop in SF! Best prices in the area by a wide margin ($35 for a tune-up vs. $50+ elsewhere), great service. Good stuff.

Great local bike shop -- I've lived across the street for years and finally had a chance to stop by and buy and bike. Totally helpful, put me in the perfect bike for my uses. Of course you're not going to find every product on the Internet here and prices are going to be higher than Amazon, but in trade you get helpful staff who are cyclists themselves, and that's worth a ton. I was in and out with a brand new bike in less than 20 minutes vs. what would have been hours and hours of research/decisions buying online. Very happy with the Toga crew!
