The staff provide world class service. They were friendly, polite and true professionals. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Small little touches made the stay unique such as complimentary Irish coffee, cookies and wine hour.

Thank you Nancy for letting the world know how amazing our staff really is! I couldn't work with a better bunch of individuals that love the hotel and love what they do! I can't wait to share this with them all. Thanks again and hope to see you again soon!

It served our needs adequately but we did not spend much time there. The rooms were well equipped if a little in need of refurbishment. There was facilities you could request that were complimentary but nor provided automatically like a coffee machine. The service was generally good.

We got a great deal booking via American Express, and it was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. Service was excellent, room was clean and beautiful. Not a lot of street noise even though we were only on the third floor. Great, affordable place to stay!

Excellent Customer service! I travel a lot and the people that work at this hotel make it a great experience! It's a smaller hotel and the staff make you feel welcome - very clean and great location. Enjoy happy hour in the lounge the bartenders are excellent and remember you! I would highly recommend this hotel!

This place is awesome. The staff have always made me feel like a valued family member. I brought my 8 year old daughter with my on a biz trip this spring and like always these guys took fantastic care of us. This is my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in! The people make the difference!

Thoroughly unimpressed. Pricing: $225 for NYE. This was a discounted rate, as the standard is $325. (single queen) Check in: The lady who checked us in did the *bare minimum* taking my card and ID and getting us keys. I had to follow up with basic questions, which was practically like pulling teeth - "What time is checkout?" "Do you have a gym?" "Where is the ice machine" etc. Room: - Bed: If you like sleeping on a rock hard surface with cardboard sheets, then this is the place for you! I've slept on comfier beds at a motel 6. - View: Spectacular, if you like looking down on a dirty rooftop. (Somewhat erroneous and unavoidable I admit) - Bathroom: Cramped, water pressure was horrible for the shower. - Other: The heater sounded like a freight train when it was on. Between this and the bed I maybe got an hour of sleep. - Overall: Dated and unimpressive. Parking: As mentioned, $50 per night, with a 30 - 45 minute wait to get your vehicle the next day. Incredibly overrated and pricey IMO. If you are desperate, this may be good for you. I certainly will not make this mistake again, especially with the volumes of hotel options in the immediate area.

I stayed at this hotel last weekend with my fiance. We booked the reservation through priceline after looking at the photos on priceline and on the actual hotel website. We were without our 3 kids for a post Valentine's Day evening out, so we wanted to stay some place nice. I chose this hotel because of the location and what the photos looked like and it seemed like a quaint boutique type hotel. I was in for that, as this was my first trip to SF. Big mistake. The location was awesome and the employees were very nice, the rest of the experience was awful. First off, our room was small. I mean really small. It was so small that the television had to be off to the upper side of the left hand side of the bed. Unless we were on our sides, there was no television watching. Truthfully, this probably wasnt the worst part of the experience, cause it's not like we rented a room so that we could stay and watch television in it, but it was small. Second, it was freezing. Our room was absolutely freezing. We turned up the heat as far as it would go, which heated the room up slightly, but it was still absolutely unbearable. There were no extra sheets or blankets offered and what was on the bed was pretty thin, so I ended up sleeping with several layers on. Third, the water temperature in the shower was luke warm, at best. No joke. I learned of this when I was trying to warm up from the cold room. I attempted to take a shower right before mid-night, so it's not like they ran out of hot water. My fiance attempted to take a shower in the morning and it was the same story. Fourth, the bed was noisy. Every time you moved on it, it creaked, loudly. This (along with feeling frozen) pretty much killed any anticipated Valentines Day romance ideas. (The floors also creaked in various parts of the extremely small room). Fifth, we could hear our "neighbor" coming and going in the morning, loud enough to where it sounded like they were trying to get in our room. Not very comforting. Sixth, it just wasnt that "clean." Carpets were dirty, wall paper was coming off, bathroom didnt appear to be all that clean. However, they did leave us two trash cans next to the bed. Seventh, there was a constant metallic humming sound the entire time we were in the room. I dont know if it was the fridge or the heater or what, but it was loud and wasnt exactly "white noise." If being cold hadn't kept us up the majority of the night, this would have. I would never, ever classify this as a 4 star hotel. Not ever. The only thing nice about it was the location and the fact that the staff was friendly. Spend your money elsewhere. Seriously.
