The time has come to start the night weaning process! LO is 7.5mos and wakes twice to eat, usually around 11 and 3 but the times can vary +/- an hour. We've also had some early mornings lately so a 5am feed is not unheard of, just to buy me a little more sleep time! I plan to do the dreamfeed/tapering off by a minute plan. Any advice/tips/success stories?
Nothing good to report yet. Two nights in a row he slept til 12:45 and then went until 5am. Silly me thought we could just drop the 11 feed without tapering off since he had proved he didn't need it. I just don't have the resolve in the middle of the night. (And dad wasn't able to assist this week). So back to the tapering off plan. I can't quite commit to setting an alarm for dream feeds because, against all odds, every night I think will be the night that he magically sleeps through. Seriously, need to get over that already haha.
