BayVue Family,

Overnight the storm continued to track our direction. This was so disappointing to wake up to this morning. Im sure you all woke up to the same blaring alarm I did. lolRemember we are under a mandatory evacuation order. I will post the like to the baynews9 website that has shelter locations. I am directing you there because they should have up to date information on any shelters that may be at capacity.
If you are choosing to ride it out, please be safe. Keep the doors inside your apartment closed. Fill your bathtubs with water to use to flush the toilets or bathe with. Remember that we (Bayvue staff) cannot respond to power outages or flooding.
I plan on being at the property Tuesday morning to evaluate any potential damages. Let's all pray a miracle happens and this thing misses Florida completely. If it doesn't, just know that you are not alone and we are here for you.
We will do everything we can to get everything back where it needs to be.
Be safe guys
Tiffany

Familia BayVue,

Sean seguros chicos

BayVue Family,
As of now, we are planning on closing our office Saturday 9/9 so that our staff can prepare their families for the storm. There is still uncertainty on what our impact will be. We are planning on the office being closed Sunday 9/10 & Monday 9/11. If something changes with the storm, this could change.

As of 5pm today:
All non-emergency service requests will be suspended until after the storm.
Emergency service requests will be completed today through Saturday. At this moment we are anticipating that we will not be completing emergency calls Sunday and Monday in order to keep the staff safe.

Please remember the following once the storm hits:
Power outages should not be reported to us. Please contact Teco. We are not able to restore power.
If there is flooding (we do not know that this will happen, but want to cover bases) our staff cannot do anything to stop it. As soon as it is safe to travel, I will be heading back to our community to assess damages and directing repairs. (if any are needed)

In the event there are damages, please be patient. We will work to get everything restored as fast as we can.
If you have problems, questions or concerns- you can email me. I will periodically be checking my email and will respond as quickly as I can. tarick@firstcommunities.com

Please do not depend on us to tell you to evacuate. If you feel you need to for your families safety--do so. If an order is issued, please take it seriously.

And most importantly, please remember to pull all items in doors.

We still do not know what type of impact we will face, just that there will be one.
Please make sure to take any voluntary or mandatory evacuations seriously. www.baynews9.com has updates on storm track, shelter locations and supply locations.
*Please make sure you remove all items from your patio.
*Please be sure to get prescription refills, non perishable food items, water and pet supplies.
*Please do not leave your pets behind if you have to evacuate.
We will continue to send updates as the week progresses and we learn more about the storm's expected track.
Please be safe!
