Splitty is a bar in the Fort Greene / Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn.  Splitty pays tribute to the freedom and fancy of the vintage camper days. Inspired by the split windshield VW Bus of the early 60's, the bar's design does not strive for literal camper, but feels like the camper of your dreams. Splitty also offers fine Steamed Buns, or Bao. Delicious cocktails, great beers and nice wines will add sparkle to the journey. Check the website or Facebook page for information on DJ's or other entertainment. Don't miss the nice garden out back.

I had a great experience at Splitty. The best time was when John was the bartender and server. Get their for the happy hour and you get lower priced buns! They have two good veggie options (even vegan mayo!!!). The selection of beverages are suitable to pretty much any palate and they have a good range of cocktails to choose from that they are known for. Another great aspect was that the music for the night was rather exceptional. It is a small thing that I've seen many places overlook or do very very poorly. Splitty had a good range of genres and songs that covered the hours I was there. The one caution is that if you go there too late, you may find the type of bun that you want is unavailable as they sometimes run out of ingredients.

Great place to hang out especially on a summer's night. The back patio is open 'til pretty late. The bartenders are super nice. Cocktails are great --- I had a great Old Fashioned (called Benton's with homemade bacon bourbon). Try out their buns too!

This is a fun spot for a Friday night. We went last week and I loved the vibe! Great music (there was a live band playing California beach music/Surf Rock), hospitable bartenders (Grant, you rule!) and yummy snacks (the pastrami bun was delicious). I noticed a few reviews about the bartenders not being great but that was NOT my experience. The three guys working were very sweet, took orders nicely and actually kicked out a super drunk guy that was really harassing me. Definitely check this place out people!
