First the good: Room was nicely decorated, ONE doorman was friendly, ONE front desk clerk friendly, restaurant downstairs good place for breakfast. Now the bad. My floor REEKED of pot smoke ALL THE TIME. It was obvious what room it was coming from, but it was never addressed. Housekeeping staff left garbage bags and bags of laundry in the hallway for hours, one bag almost a whole day. My keys stopped working, and had to go down to the desk for another set. I was in a group of five...ALL of our keys stopped working at one point or another. Two of our group had people in the rooms they were assigned. As in, their key worked, and the opened the door, and there was someone already there. Yes, we talked to the manager about this, his response? Walked away. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again, under this management. Their systems are terrible, and the vast majority of their staff don't give a rip. Also, be warned, this hotel is on the convention cycle, meaning there will be bus loads of people showing up to check in. And they simply don't accommodate it...the process is painfully slow. I've paid less than half the price for a convention hotel, showed up with just as many people, and the check in process for the whole group was under a half hour. The night we checked in, and two of our rooms were double booked, was a common problem.

Booked as a hidden rate on another travel site NEVER AGAIN! We arrived around 10PM after our flight landed. We got to the hotel and checked in after waiting for a couple of minutes in line. We get up to our room and was excited about the view down Bourbon Street. I went to get ready and picked up the suitcase my boyfriend had put down on the floor, only to find it wet. I look closer and there is a giant puddle on the floor coming from the wall. It looked like mold to be honest. I was annoyed about this and we were going to tell the front desk on our way out to go grab dinner. I was getting ready thankfully not showering because the hotel let a previous guest that was staying in the room come in and check if he left something! They gave somebody else a key to OUR ROOM! On the way out to dinner we brought up the concerns to the front desk and they said they would send house keeping up to dry the floor. We came back around 230AM, and none of our keys work. My boyfriend goes down to the front desk to get the keys updated because they stopped working for some reason. He came back up and they were still not working. He goes down and security comes up to try the master key, does not work. Comes back up with another tool, that did not work either (almost 3am at this point). He comes up with a screw driver and lets us into our room. He says somebody will come with batteries tomorrow to fix it but we are able to get in. Once in the room we find the spot bigger and not dry. I call down to the front desk and they send maintenance. They come around 3am to look and he said he couldn't fix it then but would have them come tomorrow. He also said that he called the manager and he was on his way up to look at the water stain and would have us switched to a new room as soon as one became open. We go to bed after the music outside stops blasting around 4am. We wake up and they never came to switch the batteries so one of us had to stay in the room and showered while the other went out to get lunch. I also noticed black spots all over the shower and looked like mold? My boyfriend went down to see if they could fix the door and get us new keys but the line was 40 people long. He has me call down to the front desk, I was passed around to 3 different people and had to leave a voicemail. I called Expedia who I booked the room from an after an hour on the phone with them I got nowhere as well. After hanging up the phone with them house keeping comes in the room and she said she was sorry that nobody told her that somebody was in this room and that it was supposed to be empty according to her list. She called the front desk manager who came up. I showed her all the concerns with the room and she said she was sorry and was going to get me a new room. We switched rooms and were put right next to the elevator, I give up! We were listening to the elevator go up and down all day and night while we were in the room. My advice is to NEVER stay here! The only good thing was the location which was right by where the wedding we were attending was.

The bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. The room is freezing, despite turning the heat up high. Some of the staff are friendly and some are not. Valet parking is around $30 and it takes awhile to get your car. No internet or breakfast are included. I ended up checking out early, because the room was so cold.

Horrible! Accidentally left my pillow in the room at checkout and the housekeeping was so high and drugged out they couldn't remember where they put it when I went back for it. The hotel staff wasn't very friendly either unless you were a crowne member. Won't stay here ever again. Plus we heard other guests complain about stuff being stolen from their room by housekeeping.

This is the absolute worst hotel in the French Quarters. I booked a 3 night stay for 6 business executives and the staff was less than pleasant and the rooms were dirty. I am from New Orleans and all of my guests were from out-of-town. I was very displeased with the staff. No one was ever available for assistance, they were very unprofessional when I did get someone on the phone after being transferred to 6 different people, the check-in time was 4pm and my executives couldn't check in until 6pm. The rooms were very unclean even after having to wait an additional 2 hours to have them cleaned. We could not get our monies refunded and you are automatically charged for a 1 night stay upon booking. So you are stuck staying in that nasty hotel. I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN! And I had planned on using this hotel for a huge convention for our company. I am glad I had this trial run before I locked our company into paying for 100+ "crappy" rooms. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this overcharged, dirty, less-than-pleasant-staff hotel. I am taking our money to the Marriott!

Spent 1/2 of our 1 night birthday trip for my son dealing with the hotel issues! Spent total of 3.5 hours trying to get up to the parking and checked in. They said it was because 2 bus loads of people checked in they were not expecting. Really? You booked a convention for surgeons and you did not know they were coming? We had minors traveling with us and called 2x to make sure that we would have adjoining rooms, that was confirmed on the phone and at the front desk in person only to get to our room and it not be! Of course at that point, still over 100 people standing in line to check in downstairs they would not help! This was not a rare occurrence as suggested by the front desk. The valet were as helpful as they could be given what they had to work with, management incompetent. We were stuck. would not recommend staying here unless you figure at least 3-4 hours of time for check and out! room was ok but nothing special.
