We used to go here as a family when I was a kid and we were always impressed. Though the food is still pretty good the service is terrible. We had a very friendly server (Jeremy) but he was clueless and more scatter brained than I have ever seen in a server. We had a group of about 10. He missed most of the drink orders, brought me and two others the wrong salad/soup. Then the entrees he had all wrong. Not to mention out meal last 2 and a half hours.... (Took 45 minutes to get our check once we asked for it) then he didn't split the bill like we asked and when we tried asking about it we could smell ALCOHOL ON HIS BREATH (explains a lot). We finally just divided up the total ourselves and gave him mostly cash and two cc's to charge the rest to (he brought back receipts charging the full amount to one cc and 40 to the other who knows what happened to the cash. At this point we demanded to speak to a manager who didn't show up until asking twice more (10 minutes later) she came and didn't help any at all. All in all we liked the food but this was about the worst customer service experience we've ever had! Wish we could've given our money to someone who deserved it which we will next time and won't be recommending this place to anyone.

My son's wedding dinner was held at OSF in Trolley Square last week. We had 40 people there and the average cost came to $15.50 - this included tax and 18% gratuity. Beforehand the bride and groom chose 3 different main courses to choose from - which was great because all of the guests had a choice. Soda pop was optional - for those who wanted it. The meal started out with drinks, a green salad with their house dressing, and small loaves of bread with garlic butter. The main course was served quickly. There was some kind of ice cream served for dessert. The food was delicious! Our servers were great! Ken and Jimmy took very good care of us and they were personable and kind. They were cute with my grandchildren - and that impressed me! When it was time to cut the wedding cake, they found a large knife and brought out extra plates and utensils (some places charge extra for this). They were there to serve us - and did a super job! The atmosphere was very nice! We were given a back room - away from the other customers. I definitely will be going back to The Old Spaghetti Factory! It is a great place for a wedding party.

HORRIBLE! After going to this place for many years and taking our young children there for celebrations, I have to admit that 15 years later, this place now sucks! The hostess sat us in the bar area with our grandson when we asked for a booth. There were only about 4 other tables that had anyone sitting at them. They had just opened! No reason to set a child in a Bar! The waiter was clearly unhappy that we were there interrupting his football game he was trying to watch in the bar. He brought our drinks at different times. we got our bread (cold) with our meal., which was also nasty! Tomato sauce on noodles. No seasoning. Too rich white sauce with fatty bacon on other noodles. Was brought spaghetti and meat BALLS instead of the Meat Sauce that we had ordered and of course we were still charged the extra $3.00 for it. Waiter continuously reached across the table in front of our faces to pick up plates that we not even finished with! Never once said "excuse me".We felt rushed through everything. Was asked what kind of ice cream we wanted before we even finished our salads. I will never go back to any Spaghetti factory. Its gone downhill for years but todays experience has taught us to chalk it up as a distant memory when the service was great and so was the food. It cost $42.00 for 3 people today and it was AWFUL! I could have spent $10 at Taco Bell and had a more enjoyable meal and decent service. Goodbye Spaghetti Factory......

This franchise is showing its age. What was cool and cutting edge 25 years ago is pretty passe now days. Still a good feed for big groups on a budget. Lots of big spaces for big parties. Food is good, but nothing special. Mizinthra cheese with browned butter as spaghetti sauce is most interesting thing on the menu.

can't complain... AT ALL! It was great service, our waiter was quick. My food was warm and very good. It is in a cool little building in an accessible part of the city
