This is the typical neighborhood bar that's a dump but you end up going to out of sheer convenience. Beer selection is good, nothing special though, same with the staff with a space-cadet or 2 thrown in for good measure. Food isn't that good, just the mediocre bar food you'd expect. There's not much nightlife this far uptown, so its still worth a shot.

Libbey was our server. She was nice. Our booth was huge however the table seemed a bit low. Food was super fast and correct. I had chicken cheesesteak with provalone and the kids split the corndogs. Both were fine. The wife had the pulled pork. It was a little dry. Overall...I'd go again because of the fast service.

This is the original Greene Turtle. Great food similar to a TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, etc. and similar pricing. Best to go before prime eating hours as this place gets really packed. Becomes a really energetic bar with DJ's at night.

If I could leave a negative star review I would. I will never step back into a Greene Turtle again and hope others wont either. I will not even allow any of my friends to wear anything with there logo on around me. I have never been to a place and have had such bad service in my life. (the food wasn't even that good) I asked every one at my table and also the next table over and they felt the same way. After leaving a small tip another waitress came out and told me that I was a cheap scape and used some profound language. I had always thought a tip was earned and not just given. I am a very good tipper and when you can do your job and you are pleasant you get a great tip. I called the next day to tell the owner what had happened and he told me that I was a cheap scape and that I most likely do this often. I told him not to worry that I would never step back into a place with such bad service and that I will tell everyone about my bad experience with this restaurant. and how he handled the situation. I wasn't calling for anything free or off, I just wanted him to know how his staff is very unprofessional. He stated that the waitress was his best and I must be an ass. Run Run Run there are better restaurants then the Greene Turtle.

Looks like a throw-back sports bar from the early 1990's. Decent amount of beer on tap, and 6 pages of appetizers in the menu... Bartender was quick and polite with my blue moon and menu. I decided to go for the "Chesapeake" Burger, meduim, and a dozen Chicoteague salt clams, raw. Clams came out in about 15 minutes, along with the burger. Okay, no big deal. These were nice size little necks, and tasted pretty fresh. But.. Whoever shucked them didn't seperate the flesh from the shell, and eating them was a messy, irritating experience. The burger was cooked well-done, and I was actually glad they got it wrong, becuase the meat was of the prev-frozen, pre-formed, hockey-puck variety. It was gray, and spongey, and greasy, lacking any flavor. The crab and cheese concoction on the burger itself was equally as bland. Not a hint of any Old Bay spice or sweet MD Blue Crab to be found. The only thing it had in common with the actual Chesapeake was that it soaked the roll, which was a garden variety, sub-Mason-Dixon white bread, soping with grease. Fries were average/ok for a pub. Service was very good, but the food was uninspiring and lazy.

The food was overpriced and the quality was just alright. The chicken wings were dry, and the seafood macaroni and cheese wasn't very good
