Bricks Assemble For This AVENGERS Trailer Made With LEGOs | Nerdist
With a little over a week until the film hits theaters, the Avengers: Age Of Ultron hype train will be kicking into overdrive real soon. Let me be the first to get those wheels moving a little bit faster. Well, Brotherhood Workshop will do that actually, I will just tell you about it. So, allow me to hype the hype train. It seems that recreating popular film trailers with LEGOs and stop-motion animation is now a requirement. We recently brought y...

What a great local store, they have recently renovated the store and it is more fantastic then ever. I can always find something great for my son here. If you are in Newark you should stop in!

Captain Blue Hen Comics has, over the past several years, become a favorite and frequent haunt of mine. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the array of product, from vintage/current comics to niche comics and pop culture collectibles, is vast. If they don't have a given item, they likely have a means to get it for you, and they've always put the customer ahead of the custom when it comes to recommendations. When you want to talk with staff who's more current on comics culture than your average blogger or internet news site, you go to CBH.

I was told today that a $3.99 sale "Wasn't worth it" and that I should go withdraw money from an atm. I think I'll just download comics from now on, and pick up trades from amazon.

There aren't a lot of comic book specialty shops in the area, but of the three or four around Captain Blue Hen's is always lit, clean, and everybody's very helpful. There's a large selection of comics to choose from and I've never felt rushed or second-classed by the employees, and they remember my name, even if I only go in 3 or 4 times a year. They're also very customer focused. They'll order comics or books if they don't have it in stock, offer a subscription service through their distributer (so you don't have to worry about either missing an issue or having it show up bent or torn in the regular mail, offer a selection of books relating to comics and comic drawing and sales, and even have a Notary there at least twice a week. Always worth a look.

Been going to Captain Blue Hen for over 2 years now and they are the best. Great selection of new and old books, plenty of trades, dollar books, etc. Staff is always friendly and know most of the customers by name. The store is big as comic stores go and they have creator signings a few times a year. Always make sure to show up on Free Comic Book Day because they have tons of fun stuff.

I could use another comic shop...but after close to two decades- the service, knowledge, and attention to detail is worth the hour and half drive! These guys (and gals) know my preferences and are quick to let me know of titles and items I may be interested in...It's become so easy that my wife even enjoys going there (and that's saying a lot!)

WOW, what more can I say. That's the vibe that you get when you walk through their front door. You are instantly greeted when you enter the shop by smiling faces and to the sounds of an old school TV show on the tube. They have a great selection of back issues, trades and other collectibles. Their Dollar bins (about 10 in all) are always full with great grabs, and if you think that isn't enough they even have their own podcast "From the Booth". It's a great place to visit if you’re passing through or if you want to hang out in one of their restaurant booths and read some comics. Oh, and did I mention that they have a girl that works there that knows ALOT about everything comics!!!!!!

Captain Blue Hens is a great shop that I spent years shopping at while is was in college. I've moved away but will still visit to see what new suggestions the owner has for me that I can pick up. He has a great knack for knowing what you read and being able to make suggestions of other books that will appeal to you.
