I've been to Madeo numerous times over the last several years. I went to Madeo just recently for my friend's birthday and a had a fabulouSSS dinner. The service is friendly, excellent and attentive, it is a family run place and the family is very present observing the service and insuring the quality. Nobody was pretentious and we got our reserved table with about a 15 minutes wait. Madeo is beyond amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about everything from the service, atmosphere, and, most importantly, the food! The food was marvelous, and always good if not particularly special. The wine list is excellent. I've never had a bad meal at Madeo. It has the feeling of a Little Italy restaurant in NY...a small and intimate setting that focuses on homemade italian cuisine. I would'nt be able to just recommend one thing, as everything is simply amazing. The one negative is that it can be LOUD and VERY crowded. Overall, a great experience everytime and I would definitely recommend to any Italian foodie looking for a charming and romantic spot in Beverly Hills... Thanks!

Service was slow, portions small, pizza was cold and the meal was overpriced. Was left wondering what all the fuss was about.

The staff gave us an unwelcoming feeling from the waiting area until the end of our dinner. The service was not very organized. We were seated first into a booth, and secondly a larger family sat behind our booth. Our waiter greeted us, but served the larger family first. We didn't feel very welcome because our waiter would hardly check on us and checked on the family more often, he wouldn't even look at us when we were giving our orders. If you are looking for a place where your waiter is very inconsiderate about one's eating. This is the place to be.

Amazing food! They are so nice too! I wish I lived here so I could eat here every day. I love the chicken gyro and lentil soup. My husband also loves the lamb/beef gyro. So delicious and what great service.

Upscale, high class, sophisticated, fine-wine-dine. Got the power with the ambiance. Get in your heels and dab on your glitter and head on to Madeo. I like it for it's rich feel. P.S. It's a little heavy on the pocket.

This place is the best Italian spot around. They got me addicted to spaghetti bottarga. The wine list is extensive and there is no shortage of excellent world varietals. It is family run and you will experience everything good about a family run restaurant when you dine at Madeo.
