Wind power (proof of resource in New Mexico) . . .

Some folks are surprised when I note that Santa Fe is the windiest place I've ever lived. Here's a video that captures the wind farther south in New Mexico. It's the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a 47-MW gas-fired power plant in Lovington, N.M. The folks at this co-op wisely have planned to integrate the reciprocating engine facility with a large wind farm being built by Exelon that is scheduled to be online this summer.
