It's great to read a few by a Murri - growing a body of Indigenous criticism is important for the arts. Read here: Dr Sandra Phillips reviewing Black Diggers (on now in Brisbane). ‪#‎IndigenousX‬ https://theconversation.com/black-diggers-out-of-the-trenches-at-the-brisbane-festival-31110 (+Sandra Phillips)

The National Museum of Australia launched the 100 Defining Moments project. Prime Minister Tony Abbott, in his launch speech notes British settlement heralding "Australia's" arrival into the modern world, as key a defining moment. His framing of the moment is undiplomatic, distasteful and failed to appreciate history. http://www.criticalclassroom.com/opinion-100-defining-moments/
