Newton Design has been awarded a contract from FlightSafety International to provide a KC-46 Fuselage Trainer (FuT). The FuT will be a full-scale replica of the KC-46 main cargo deck from the forward entry (1L) door to aft of the rear entry door. The height of the simulated fuselage will be the same distance above the ground as the aircraft to facilitate aircraft loading/unloading training. The FuT will match the aircraft configuration, and will include a functional cargo handling system, cargo door, communication system, and lighting. The FuT will be used by aircrews for cargo loading, egress, door operation, firefighting, and refueling operations training. Newton Design is pleased to be working with FlightSafety on this program.

Newton Design is excited to begin site preparation for our latest facility expansion.  Recent large contract awards will require additional manufacturing space, which the new 37,500 square foot building will provide.  The site for the new building is conveniently located at 27000 E. Admiral Pl., halfway between Newton's legacy facilities at 27602 E. Admiral Pl. and Newton's main facility at 26015 E. Admiral Pl.  The new building will double Newton's manufacturing square footage, and is Newton's second major facility expansion in the last four years.  Check back often for construction progress updates.

Newton Design recently added 3D printing to our list of manufacturing capabilities! With this equipment, we can rapidly prototype parts and assemblies, as well as manufacture production parts.
