I stayed here maybe about 6 years ago (not booked thru hotwire). It looks like this place is going through a remodel this time around, it doesn't look like they are done though or at least i hope not. It wasn't 4 star last time and really shouldn't be 4 star this time time either. The room was generally fine, probably on par with the nearby Hilton or Sheraton however there are some things that were very disappointing. First the location is really close to the airport, literally next to it in fact, so it wasn't walking distance to any shops or cafes. I had to drive like 10 mins to the nearest starbucks. Secondly they charged $18 for parking when there's tons of spaces available, it's really not in an area where i thought they should even charge for parking because it's not really close to anything besides the airport. Thirdly I thought the service wasn't that great either, only 1 bath towel in our room that had four guests. Placed on hold indefinitely when called to ask for more towels. Finally and probably the most important is that the pool was dirty and the towels that were provided in the pool area were very thin and didn't feel clean at all. Also they advertised it as a 'heated' pool however it was super cold. Needless to say my kids were also very disappointed with the pool. I booked thru hotwire 'hot rate' service and was very disappointed that it included this hotel in it's 4 star list. Will probably not use hotwire again and will not stay at this place again.

2nd time and would stay again, The hotel bell staff (Jose) went out of their way to make sure my ice packs were ready for my back and if they were not for any reason they would provide ones they have, Along with extra pillows for my legs while in bed, Jose in bell services is really helpfull and nice to talk to when any issues should arise. The delta Vancouver Airport Hotel has a very wide selection on the menu (room services) and very fast from ordering to time it gets to room and delicious food to choose from. It is a bit on the expensive side, But the Hotel staff make up for it. Very clean and nice view or river and marina, But did notice signs/billboards still up from last time in february that they are addressing the hvac issues, I guess hvac workers in B.C. are hard to find ? Other than that, No issues and I would give this place a try when in town

Nice, well located Hotel, where I have been staying intermittently for several years. The Staff are the best - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Housekeeping - Vassi deserves a special thanks for her regular and careful work. Rooms are clean, nice pool for the Summer. Pier 73 always has something of interest on the menu, along with its great water views. New Host - Victoria has made great efforts to welcome Guests to Pier 73. She is a great addition.

We stayed two separate nights. The front desk staff we're totally unfriendly and not helpful at. The wifi hardly worked in our room and the rooms we're tiny despite being upgraded or luxury or whatever they called them. You had to stand near the door to pickup the wifi because the routers are spread out on the ceiling in the hallway. The rate they quoted on their website was not the rate they charged us both nights. Only good thing was the staff in the lounge on the 9th floor we're excellent. Actually come to think of it most of the staff we're good except for the ladies at the front desk. I wouldn't have stayed the second night but we had already booked it earlier. We will certainly not be back.

No large extras like bottled water in room. Clean and friendly. Only thing not clean was remote and coffee maker in our room; mothers room was fine. Stayed here due to AC cancelled flight. Awesome food at Pier restaurant! Large portions. Loved warm sea food salad.
