I was going to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on the "Train (Via) late November 2012 and it was the last Saturday of the month, because it was on a Saturday when the Train stopped for three hours; I walk around town in the cold, I heard music coming from the Bar and I walked in to see what was going on. To my surprise, there was a Jam Sesion; it was around 4:00 pm. Thanks to Randy Daniels, "a local musician" greated me, as soon as I'd walked in the door. I didn''t have an instrument with me, but he said that I look like a musician. I was on stage. done a couple of songs "using some body's guitar" walked off the stage, went back to the Train Station, on-the-road I go! Saskatoon bound!! S.P.Cx. What a nice Pub/Bar! Thanks every body who was at the Bar that day. I have pictures* email: sugarplumcroxenatgmaildotcom There was a lady there taking pictures! If you read this> please send, email me those pictures. Thaks! S.P.Cx.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite hotel of all time. Situated in the majestic Canadian Rockies, it's also conveniently located in the center of Jasper. The rooftop jacuzzis are a refreshing way to spend the cooler evenings. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The rooms are cozy, and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in, including my own at home. This is my second time here. This time, I reserved a suite - the fireplace and patio were nice added touches. If you're one of those snooty people who favors 5 star resorts, I'm sure you'll find things to nitpick here. (My complaint is that the wifi strength is inconsistent and weak.). But having stayed in 5 star hotels before, I would still pick Whistler's Inn. It's the definition of comfort and relaxation.

The employees were very friendly and the hotel was priced as we expected in the Jasper area ($159). The hotel is definitely aged and the room was pretty big and not too bad at all. Parking was a problem, but we were able to get a spot in their little "8 parking spot" area. The other thing that concerned me was the fact that people from the bar next to the hotel would smoke near the cars in the parking lot. Wifi didn't work in our room and the employee told me that it's really only meant for the lobby and the restaurant downstairs. I was able to pick up a stronger signal from the hotel across the street. The location was great.
