Talk about livid! I made a reservation at the KOA in Manchester, TN on the 16 of April, as well as the rest of our two week long trip all the stops coincide with each other, so we didn't have to drive that much in one day. Today I got a call from "Lamar" stating that they were cancelling my reservation because they had a minimum requirement of three days. Or I could move it to another day. We have had this 2 weeks trip planned for weeks. This is one stop of several. Hence planning it out. It took you 8 days to notice you made a mistake? Or did you need the additional room for someone else? Have we met? I am going to let the entire world know how you treat customers. Sad! Really Sad

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. During the time you made your reservation, we were experience an issue with our computers that dropped the minimum stay requirements for all online reservations. As soon as this was noticed we reached out to you in an effort to resolve the issue. We apologize you felt that our effort was not good enough but we can only do so much. We do wish you all the best and safe travels throughout your upcoming trip.

I would recommend this to anyone in my peer group that doesn't mind some noise or that wants a campground where they can be up late partying. I would also recommend it to families who don't mind noise - they had a pool, nice-looking, new playground area, and seemed to have a lot of activities for kids. The bathrooms were impeccably clean, and the water was very hot! This campground has the good solid value you expect from KOA, with a useful general store, a fun gameroom with arcade games and billiards, and a nice community kitchen. The only issue we had is that this campground is so NOISY. I understand that with popularity comes noise, but the management could have done a lot more to enforce quiet hours. They claim the campground is security patrolled; if that's true, then tell the noisy campers to respect quiet hours! The noise is the only reason I didn't give it five starts. It's in a great location - in gorgeous coastal headlands and in walking distance of Manchester beach. We are in our mid-thirties with no kids and we were tent camping. And again - can't say enough about how great it is to have bathrooms with hot water that are beautifully clean any time of day and night!

Hello Elizabeth, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We believe you left this review by mistake on our listing and possibly stayed at the Manchester Beach KOA. We are located in Tennessee. Hope you have safe travels and enjoy the rest of your travels.

Terrible terrible service, told us one price when we reserved it, charged us double when we arrived. Talked to the owner Barbra on the phone she hung up on us every time. I usually am not one to complain but unfortunately I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our prices do change from time to time depending on when you are staying and what type of accommodations you request. We'll try to do a better job in the future of clarifying the pricing for future guests. Safe travels.

We have stayed at this KOA numerous times. We have used the tent site, which now have electric on them in the back by the pond. We rented the small cabins, that don't have all of the conveniences of the Kamping Lodges. We've also stayed in two of the three Kamping Lodges. Now we pull a vintage trailer, and enjoy having access to electric and cable. I highly recommended this KOA!! The kids are entertained by a ride through the park on a wagon with squirt guns onboard, swimming and even a movie at night on the weekends. The shower and restrooms are cleaned at least twice a day. The grounds are are kept prestine. The staff now knows me by first name when I check it. How many places can you go these days and get true customer service? Well this is the place! Can't say enough about these folks! The KOA is so convenient to Walmart and resturarants too. Great for a weekend away from the big city of Nashville, TN Ms. Marti

My Husband travels for work, and me and our two sons travel with him (ages 2 and 6). The park itself is Great and the workers are very nice and friendly all but one that is. Mrs Carol is her name she is extremely RUDE and from what I hear im not the only one who thinks so and has had complaints before...its kind of a long story BUT I think this needs to be told because this is very unprofessional and paying this much (almost 700 for a month) and from a KOA I expected to be treated better than this. My husband found a puppy.(about a week after we got there) I was guna bring her to a shelter but only one I found was a high kill so I decided to keep her and find her a home myself. she was way to sweet to not go to a good home. As you can expect it was quit hectic with our family and a untrained puppy in a camper. A few days later my son was playing with her and Carol stared YELLING AND SCREAMING at my son and myself saying he was being to ruff.....he is two years old ONLY thing he done was lift up her paw and pulled her chain...I was watching the entire time....I told her I was watching him and I am in the progress of getting her a home...I was highly aggravated but didn't say anything Just went and took our next month hold off the acct. then calmed down and decided to put the hold back on the acct (we are guna be in this area until the 1st of the year)... a few days later it was raining the puppy started to potty so I put her outside. It was not even a minute I left her back in and as I was getting her my phone rang..it was Carol rudely saying MANDY let your dog in while its raining.....I then called and told her take the Hold off my act we will not be staying another month getting treated like this. she then seemed happy and said okay I sure will..i then went on to say I didn't appreciate her yelling at me and my son for playing with the puppy and that's when she told me I didn't know how to raise a dog or a CHILD.....My blood was boiling as you can imagine!!!! I then ask to speak to a manager she lied and told me she was the manager. so I ask for the owner she told me they were on vacation.....SO I call my husband upset crying and tell him what just happened....he then went up there and told her he didn't appreciate it after working all day in the rain and still raining she then proceeded to kick us out saying the dog wasn't on a leash. that was NOT the reason for her call in the first place and have never been told anything from her about a leash..... I will be calling the owners Tuesday since we are home for a holiday....

A bit too close to the interstate, traffic noise can be an issue, and that dings the appeal for me. But the campground is meticulously maintained, and has one of the nicest playground/pool areas I've seen in a campground. And the service is great. There was a problem with the wifi, and I emailed a complaint, not really expecting much. They emailed back right away, sent someone to my site, who made sure it was not just my issue, explained some of the issues they have with their ISP and rebooted the campground network, and followed up to make sure the problem was solved. They have done their homework for wifi, once it was rebooted it was one of the best public wifi systems I have used at a campground. A bit too much traffic noise to make it a destination for me, but I will definitely stay here for an night or two as a stopover on a trip.

An aging KOA property that has the audacity to charge $45/night minimum. I didn't stay here.
