Today marks the 150th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address.  I took a trip to Gettysburg back in May of this year and took some photos of the Gettysburg National Cemetery - the place where Lincoln gave his now famous speech.  Seemed appropriate for today.

I'm happy to see +Google Fiber rolling out to more areas, but I'm eager to see them start pushing into more populous places like the mid-Atlantic region or San Fransisco. I want to see them start taking Comcast and Verizon head-on and watch the fireworks.

These guys need a good scare put in them to jump-start some long needed innovation and progress for internet communication.

Introduction
Just and average Geek that's been into computers since the days of programming BASIC on my brother's Commodore 64.  I've spent my life building computers, developing software, playing games, and just trying to enjoy all the wonders that modern technology provides.

I've enjoyed software development the most in my life, having built everything from mobile to web to desktop applications.  I'm interested in all aspects of software development (languages, technologies, etc.) and am constantly look for new and interesting ways to build software and have fun doing it.
