My husband and I dined at Cameron Estate for his birthday in 2014. I had the Duck and he had the Crab Cakes. I can not say enough, how amazing our meals were! The duck was absolutely delicious. The best I have had in years! My husband loved the crab cakes. We had wonderful service and a wonderful experience. I asked my parents if we could go there this year, March 2015 for my birthday and the experience was wonderful once again. I had the Duck once again and it was still amazing! My husband had the Roasted Hen and he said that was quite delicious as well. We had a larger party with kids, but the experience was still great. Would highly recommend eating there!!! Make sure you come hungry!

I was hoping for very fine dining and got below average food and service yet paid for high end food/service. Would not go back especially for the price, food quality and service.

As we approached the first anniversary of my father's death, my mother and sisters wanted to get together for a little family time. We came from different locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Georgia and met at the Inn on Friday night. Our rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The restaurant served a delicious dinner and breakfast, and we were treated wonderfully the whole weekend. The coffee and desserts were especially delightful. The grounds were beautiful even though many of the leaves had already dropped from the trees. It was quiet and elegant, but close to great shopping. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The owners and staff were very attentive and responsive to all our needs. A special thank you to Randy and John for being the most gracious hosts ever!

I can't comment on the inn or the restaurant - I am commenting on their wedding venue business. Myself, my fiance, and my family went there today for an appointment to tour the grounds as a possible wedding venue. I booked the appointment about a week in advance. When we first got there it looked very nice, it did smell like manure which is something another user commented on, but that doesn't bother me. After we've been greeted at the front desk we were asked to sit in the living area of the inn and someone would come get us. 30 minutes later we were still sitting there. No one came to even check on us or apologize, nothing, we just sat there for a full 30 minutes with employees walking by and saying nothing to us. There wasn't even anyone sitting at the front desk for us to inquire with, my fiance stood at the front desk for a good ten minutes. We ended up leaving a note saying we were leaving. What I think is even worse is that I have yet to receive an apologetic phone call or E-mail. It was extremely disappointing. I sincerely hope that you and your family have a better experience.

My parents recently came to town and we hit up quite a few higher-end restaurants around south central PA. This was by FAR the best. I was the only one in our party to do the prix fixe menu (which comes with soup and desert), but they all wished they had by the end. The soup of the night was turkey corn chowder and it was absolutely amazing. The salad came dressed with their own vinaigrette that had excellent depth of flavor. For my entree, I had a juicy and tender filet mignon that was accompanied by a good crab cake and root veggies. Dessert was an excellent pumpkin cheesecake. Overall, my only complaint was that the beer I got had been sitting in light too long and was a bit skunky. That's a minor concern, though, when the food was great - something you don't find too often in this part of the state.
