Jelly roll, chicken sausage, and cheesy breakfast potatoes were all amazing. The only thing I would give a to would be the almond strawberry French toast, it was very doughy in the center. After sending it back, the consistency was still mushy. I would call myself a French toast connoisseur, I love it toasty and brown on both sides. Over all the customer service was A-1 and they are known world wide for their Red Velvet Cake.

wow! this place blows my mind everytime! I come here thinking "oh, I'm just going to have what I had last time" then you open the menu and BAM!! you get put into a daze with all the amazing items they have to choose from.. I fell in love with the French onion soup the first few times I came but now I cant stop eating the basil roasted chicken salad! YUM! I love this place and so will you!!

Meh. Seated quickly at a dirty table. Was recommended by the server to try the Doughboy Breakfast Sandwich, which was awful. Very dry, not enough ingredients on the inside to make it worth while, cheese was hard when it came out. Ended up just pulling the eggs and bacon out of the middle and eating that. BUT, the carrot cake is AMAZING. That definitely made up for the mediocre brekkie they served.

This is my favorite restaurant in L.A. Believe me when I say: absolutely the best pulled pork in Los Angeles. I used to live in the South, so I know (and stop judging me). Shocking, right? It's really quite simple, though. They cook their pulled pork for a long time and in a light bit of sauce. Most of the other pork I've had around town is cooked perfectly but has absolutely no flavor. Why bother? Doughboys also serves the pork on a fantastic flat bread type thing with a side of sauce. Seriously amazing. Other things to get here are the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup (After School Special) and the Beefy Mac & Cheese. Not for the timid. A seriously thick and delicious meal.

I am having a hard time reviewing this place. We had terrible service. It was slow and the server didn't really seem to know anything about the food, or care really. The food was pretty heavy. Some unique things. There is a peanut butter, chocolate, banana sandwich that is dipped in egg and then cooked. It was very good, but hard to eat more than a couple of bites.

Amazing breakfast burrito and French toast!! The cakes look heavenly, but we were far too full after breakfast to try them. Portions are huge!

I generally love this place for the amazing soups! Went yesterday and the service was slow and inconsiderate.

A happy day indeed when this small bakery restaurant reopened its doors. Though the bakery option are huge the breakfasty and lunch options is even bigger. Breakfast is served all day, but their soups - heated to order are delicious. Salads humungous - enough for two. I will always savor the after school special tomato soup and a grown-up grilled cheese. Yum!
