A big part of NodeJS development is the use of modules.  This encourages code-reuse and separation of concerns.  Also, I've learned much from reading the code in my favourite modules.

But finding the right module can be tedious.  NPM and Github both lack the targeted, fine-grained search necessary to sort ambiguity of features, quality, & completeness.  Some projects are no longer maintained, others have been forked into new projects with new maintainers.  So we resort to whack-a-mole Google searches that yield StackOverflow questions like "Whats the best module for..." and blogs titled "What I used to make my app wicked-awesome!".

One of these searches lead me to this site.  The "ranking" seems to be some sort of keyword search.  We really need is community-driven rankings of modules or some other sort of standardization for core problem domains.  I'm not out to squash egos, but for NodeJS to be taken seriously, developers need confidence in their decisions.

Excited to use the new Express.

Express 3.0 is here (finally) and while it is mostly a refinement release, between it and Connect 2.x there are some helpful new features. Sorry for the massive delay! Been busy and wanted to get a reasonable amount of documentation up on expressjs.com before releasing, more docs will be coming soon.
