Great place for Indian dining. The decor and ambience is warm and the the staff keeps you comfortable. So, in case you are in DC for a trip and missing Indian food or someone who wants to try Indian cuisine, Rasika is the place to be. Good food and good taste. Do try the Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani or the Tandoor Salmon.

Rasika West End fully deserves its mentions in the Top 100 restaurants of Washington, DC. A gorgeous restaurant, attentive wait staff and a bold menu that highlights both traditional classics and new-age twists all combine to make this the best Indian restaurant I have ever dined at. Rasika deserves to be mentioned in any list of great Washington restaurants and well worth a visit.

We tried both the veggie and standard tasting menu. The food was unbelievable and the service was fantastic. One of the best dining experiences I've had in DC.

Rasika lived up to its billing! All of the food tasted just amazing, with deep, varied, and interesting flavors. This included the palak chaat (their signature appetizer), chicken tikka masala, grouper alleppey curry, bhindi chili garlic okra, a lamb dish, truffle naan (excellent), mint naan, and rice (perfectly cooked). I also got the Kaminee cocktail. It was spicy, strong, and flavorful and really good, though I feel the long strip of cucumber they put in it was a bit much. Service was polite, attentive, and timely.

Upscale Indian restaurant, spectacular service, quality of food and ambience. Perfect if you are entertaining visitors/guests or looking for a romantic dinner with that special someone. The speed of service is absolutely mind-blowing for a indian restaurant. We had our hot apps within 15 mins of ordering, on a packed Boxing day Saturday and our mains within 10 mins. Quality of food is something that needs to be experienced to understand... I am Indian and have been eating indian food for 30 years, across 4 continents and this place definitely stands out at the very top!

Wow! Food is awesome, drinks are awesome and service is second to none. Tip, valet park it is only 10 bucks and well worth it to avoid the hunt for street parking. They also do a great job with special occasions.

Expensive but very good "upscale" Indian Food. Glad my company picked up the tab!
