Want to play some 'ball while you're in town?

It'll probably be a bit pricey to rent out the Barclays Center, so try one of these great basketball courts in the city. (And watch out for the ones without baskets!)

It is summer after all!
The 'Wet Hot American Summer' immersion in Bushwick was charmingly ramshackle and captured the spirit of the movie pretty well

She's big. She's beautiful. She's Brooklyn. Manhattan's neighbor to the east has become a veritable mecca of wholesome food, great vintage, and enough craft beer (and ginger-beer-based cocktails) to fill the East River. Not to mention a plethora of date-worthy guys and gals — ever walk through

A cozy and a quiet place. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Just 3 blocks away from 4 Ave-9 St Subway Station, and 1 block away from the 5th Ave (Park Slope). Pretty close from plenty of places to eat. I'll come back for sure.

Having stayed here in the past we were astounded as to what has happened to this hotel. Here is the list of things that happened during our last 4 day stay: Came in at 11AM, did not have a room for us which we understood as it was early. We went out, came back at 4. They still did not have a room for us. We had to wait. First room: safe broken, AC not working well. Requested room change. Then they switched us to a room that was not yet made up. Then we waited for a third room which we were finally let into. No light bulb in fixture over sink.Reported it three times, someone finally came had the wrong bulb. We left to go out. When we returned there was a bulb but it did not work. We called the front desk again, they had no idea. They could not or did not fix it for the 4 days of our stay. Breakfast choice included yogurt which we ordered. In the morning, they said sorry no yogurt. The coffee maker in the room had only one regular coffee pod. Had to call for more. The room was never made up until at least 5 pm. The wet wash cloths were left in the shower. The key to the room continually stopped working and we had to return to the front desk from the 4th floor everyday. The bedside lamp stopped working and they could not fix it. The TV did NOT work. Then they said it was fixed and it only worked on 2 or 3 channels. They could not fix it. When we left we gave our phone number to the front desk clerk requesting that she give it to the manager to call us. We did not receive a call. There was absolutely no communication from one shift to another at this hotel. Every time we told someone something was not working it was totally new news to them even if it had been reported for days. For our inconveniences during our stay they gave us several plastic bottles of water and 2 small boxes of chocolate with 4 pieces in each box. We will never stay there again and I recommend you seek hotel accommodations elsewhere.

Had a lovely weekend at the Blue tower! Close to the subway and our room had a distant view of the Statue of Liberty. Will definitely stay here again perfect getaway!

We walked in, asked for and to see a room, were impressed, signed up for it at the best price I'd seen on the internet less another 15% AARP discount, used the free parking and continental breakfast, and very much enjoyed the room. Interestingly different and useful room layout, very handsome modern furniture and facilities, blue theme throughout, quiet. Very helpful and courteous staff. Close (1 block) from great Brooklyn restaurants and our family. Much better than crowding in with them. What could be better?

I'm really pretty easy going but this hotel is all fluff and no substance. We were so excited to spend the night after finding it online. All the glowing reviews, great location to Park Slope and such a modern, clean presentation. What's not to like? Well… when you show up at 4 PM and your room isn't ready. That kinda sucks. Especially when the "lobby" is the size of a postage stamp and you are left to just kinda stand there waiting because several other folks were waiting as well and there's one small bench. Once we got a room, it was two double beds. We paid for and reserved a king. We got two doubles. Add to that, a $250.00 (YEP… TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKS) hold on your card for incidentals? Per night! Their website says $150.00 which is still absolutely ridiculous. When we called the desk, the girl was completely indifferent (probably because she's been getting calls all day) and said, "I guess the website's wrong." The shower had three different handles; I still can't figure out why and while the balcony is great… there is nothing to sit on so you just walk out there, look down at the parking lot and wonder, "why the hell are we here?" This place tries really hard but falls so far short it's not even funny. The staff can't be bothered, except for extremely pleasant girl who delivered our croissants (which are complimentary) in the morning. A nice touch but not worth the hassle or the money. Skip this place.

Outward impression, including the neighborhood, leads you to think this hotel will be fine for a night. Then you enter your room and what a surprise! It's elegant, beautiful and full of amenities from complimentary snacks to white bathrobes, a HUGE shower, bed and TV screen with a high end sound system. The wifi is free (really unique these days believe it or not) and complimentary breakfast is delivered to your room warm and right when you have scheduled it! Really we will be back and back and back for more than a night - the Hotel Le Bleu is in easy reach of all the great Brooklyn restaurants and bars, and a 5 minute walk to the subway right into Manhattan. They have parking, too and Starbucks coffee. Really everything was such a wonderful surprise!

Really great location and friendly staff. Water pressure for the shower is great. Parking is included which is very hard to find.
