"Japanese Style Breakfast" is a must here. Also have great coffee and desserts. A little pricier than I'm into, but the quality of food makes up for it. I suggest getting brunch on a weekday (it's cheaper than the weekend) and definitely make a reservation if you're going for dinner.

*** In Short *** Brunch. Cute. Tasty. Takes reservations. Need I really say more? Okay, fine: if they have it, be sure to try the Merguez lamb sausage. *** In Depth *** My friend, who absolutely loves Cassava, has been telling me she wants to take me here since, oh, my birthday last year? So, after more than a year, I decided to just go myself, with a different friend. Oops. Anyway, I ordered their: * Merguez Lamb Sausage - This was just divine. Flavorful? Yup. Rich? Oh, definitely. Greasy? Very much so. Delicious? Hells yeah. * Braised Short Rib "Hash" - Not so much a hash as it was a quinoa and potato bowl topped with a poached egg and fall off the bone tender rib deliciousness. Cute little brunch spot, with a simple, but fantastic color scheme, and a combination of indoor and outdoor seating. Oh, and my favorite part? They take reservations. For brunch. WIN! ***Accessibility Info*** Venue - We were seated on the border of their in/outdoor seating, so I didn't pay too much attention to the interior seating arrangement. If memory serves me, I remember the place being a little on the smaller side, with the border seating actually being the best option. That said, my end of the table was on a slight decline backwards, which made for slightly awkward seating. Bathroom - Didn't try.

One of the best meals I've ever had! I had their Thursday 3 course meal special and it was amazing! Food was beautifully presented and very tasty! The restaurant is a bit small but has a nice atmosphere. The stuff was very friendly and one of our courses was brought to us by the head chef/owner! Overall great experience!

Cassava is a cute place for brunch or lunch. Sandwiches are decent and staff is friendly. There is outdoor and indoor seating with metered street parking right out front.

Unpretentious, pleasant setting. Very thoughtful, attentive staff (owner?) more like hostess/advisor than waiter. Great ingredients, fresh, natural, inventive combinations, with attention to the season. Enjoyed the ocean trout (they smoke it) and the cous cous appetizer.

Been here a couple times. A couple before it became fancier: I liked the whole casual, order at counter, bring number to table atmosphere. It was good food. Consistency they needed to work on. The menu was small, I had the curry both times, liked it. But the curry was inconsistent. I liked it the 1st time and was eh the 2nd time. Fancier time: Hostess could only give us bar seating, which we were fine with. Everyone was friendly and we had our order taken in a timely manner. Nice staff. They were super busy. I had the liege waffles, I expected a bit more, like the liege waffle cart. This didn't remind me of a liege waffle at all. Fruits were good and so was the bacon. But the main part of the dish had disappointed me. Their drinks are awesome though. Heard it's getting more popular, so I probably won't be back soon, dislike crowd. And on a side note, I was going through craigslist and this place was hiring. Weirdly enough, they didn't want anyone with 2 or more years of experience, which I was a bit ticked at because I wanted to apply. But this keeps their staff young and more than likely high school or college folks.

We only hire people with no experiences from restaurants to avoid bad habits picked up from other restaurants. Our staff actually range from 18 to 35 in age. With our way of hiring, we have created an amazing team with very strong working ethics and morale, more than 2/3 of them have been working with us more than 2 years. We are still doing the counter service during weekday breakfast and lunch.

Cassava hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
