Has anybody figured out how to hide the chat list on the new layout yet?

+Nick Rosencrans, when I saw this new layout, I immediately thought "Well here's a great example of a failure in usability for Nick to see."

Is it just me, or is it beginning more and more apparent that the religious right is terrified of intelligence?

They also remember when Hawaii wasn't a state, and can't comprehend the president could be younger than them.

With apologies to Brothers in or from Wisconsin, here's Mark Andrasko explaining this week's story about the state using a mitten in a seasonal promotion. Mark attended +Michigan Technological University and is an alumni member of Zeta Chapter.

So, how do I go about changing what circles show up in my stream?

Click on the stream for that circle. In the upper right of that stream there is a slider to tell how much of the circle's stream should contribute to your main stream.

Any Republican who comes out either in support of SOPA or against Wikipedia today loses the right to call themselves against big government or against excessive regulation forever.

I've figured out why I don't like Shakespeare. I don't understand Old English, so I spend the entire time trying to figure out what the hell they're trying to say.

So Navajo plying on the wheel seems to be problematic. Is there some trick to it, or am I better off just 2 plying it?

I'll skein up the little bit that I have done so far and have +Katie Sebeck bring it in. It's pretty entertaining.

Let me begin by saying that if this restaurant is open for business 6 months from now, I'll be shocked. There is nothing that happens with speed here. In fact, the very land that the building is built upon was shaped by glacier more quickly than service. My wife and I were sat and it took over 30 minutes before anybody paid us the time of day, the only reason it happened then was because we grabbed a waitress and pretty much intimidated her into taking our order. This was after we had to go to the bar to even get a glass of water. That was an adventure in itself as the person at the bar was so busy straightening the bottles of wine that he couldn't be bothered to get us some water even after being called three times. By this point, I couldn't decide if we were being unwilling participants in some perverse Japanese game show to test our patience, or if this was some sort of demented horror movie. After ordering, another long countdown began. 20 minutes after ordering we were delivered our "salads" if you can call them that. A small pile of wilted iceberg swimming in a pool of some kind of watered down 1000 Island is hardly deserving of being called a salad. It wasn't until 45 minutes after ordering (now 1:15 since being sat) that our entrees arrived. I had a Chicken Katsu Bento Box, which came with chicken fried rice, chicken katsu, a California roll, and some sort of fried dumpling that tasted roughly like thick air. The California roll was an insult to anything called sushi. I've made better rolls in the dark with one arm behind my back. The chicken katsu had nothing going for it either. Chicken katsu is actually a really simple dish and is nearly impossible to mess up, but they somehow managed. Untrained monkeys could make a better chicken katsu. The chicken fried rice was the only part of the bento box that was even edible, and just barely. The rice was over cooked, and definitely wasn't chicken fried. There are $5 Chinese buffets that have better chicken fried rice. The environment was nothing to speak of, either. This restaurant was so cold that I expected to see sides of beef hanging on hooks from the ceiling. This is the sorriest excuse for a Japanese restaurant that I haven't seen. My dining experience at Wasabi was less enjoyable than the terrible Jean Reno movie that shares its name.
