If this is true, then it's bye bye Linux!
Microsoft is often regarded as a company that's against the concept of open source, but the software giant could soon change its approach in a way that would completely revamp the Windows platform from the ground up.

+Flare Games I know what you're doing here, Its the same idea as what Caffiine does for game modding. You're manipulating stuff in RAM. Just swapping out files and what not, my question to you though, is how are you getting it to "stay" after a reboot? Clearly something is actually installing here, that's where I'm confused. How are you actually write to the Home Menu (outside of a temporary mod of what's in RAM), I thought that would require an IOSU exploit? Not doubting you at all, just super curious. If you'd rather discuss this privately, we're friends on google+ you can just hmu in a PM.

My guess is that because the end user is normally able to create folders officially on the Home Menu, when you gain kernel access, you have the same privileges as when a user is in the Home Menu normally (plus much more, its kernel access :P) so you're technically able to do what a normal user could do.... I suppose that makes sense, but maybe I'm missing something......

despite the nay sayers here and on The Temp, I think you're on to something. I saw no evidence what so ever of your video being edited. Everything was consistent. If you really wanna blow the minds of these doubters, you should make the exploit public (remove your password from the exploit site), because if people are able to use it themselves, there's no refuting it

+SuperNova2150 What the fuck are you talking about? I never said it's not a kernel exploit. Kernel exploits can be found in the web browser, you know.

I don't care what others day +Flare Games I think you're on to something. I'm sorry to see you leave GBATemp, but its probably for the best. People can be so harsh there. Keep up the good work! I expect updates on Gamebrew :) and here on youtube, keep us posted!

If you need any help at all, please let me know :). I can look at your source to help with credibility, or if you want to privately send me all the exploit stuff, I can recreate it myself on my own Wii U to prove these fools wrong.

try to run it while your sd card is out, then put it in and run it again. Make sure you record you inserting and taking out the sd card too. Otherwise people might assume you're a troll. If you've really managed to pull this off, that is freakin' epic as nobody has been able to pull off sd card access via the web browser yet :).

FYI I'm TeamScriptKiddies (TSK) from Gbatemp and Gamebrew. I saw the link in your signature to this video.
